Protein Powder Appreciation Thread

My fave brand would have to be Isofuel

My fav flavor Dymatize cookies and Cream.

I also have MGN vanilla for making protein based goodies

your gonna get some flak from this...see DC come in and tell you to eat a balanced meal. And also someone tells you to go to the workout thread.

I used to use ON Natural whey & oats and whey. Their alright but I stopped my intake of dairy so i'm off that whey. Right now I use Healthy n' fit egg protein with some added healthforce ingredients (earth, fruits of the earth, vitamineral green and maca). Does that job.

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of oatmeal
250ml of water
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 table spoon of apple raspberry juice concentrate

Be careful with that stuff man. I would say that eating a balanced diet should eliminate the need for that. Just be careful and do your research on anything you buy. Some people seem to have the mindset that protein is basically a legal form of steroids. But year, be careful man.

ON gold standard double rich chocolate. Throw in the blender with some strawberries or a banana and peanut butter and you're good to go.

I always hear people talk about putting oatmeal in their shakes, but never tried it. How does it taste?

And to OP, protien shakes are like the cherry on the top after your workouts. You just dont feel complete without that source of protien afterwards. All Max is my favorite brand. Even though alot of people will tell you its overpriced, no one can deny the fact that they sell some of the highest quality products.

Oatmeal actually sweetens it in my opinion. It thickens it (paws) and it sweetens it.

My homemade blend.

Rice Milk
Peanut Butter
Oatmeal
Banana (Usually frozen)

Remember to rotate the brands you use brahs. At way you can check for any allergic reactions to the additives company's put in them.

, greatest site ever. You can customize every little thing in your mix.

Besides Trueprotein I mess with Trutein and Optimum Nutrition

Uncooked oats in the shaker you mean?
Doesn't sound appealing

Try it first.
I wouldn't be telling you about it if it didn't taste good.

This stuff is the truth. Add it to your shakes for the same benefit as peanut butter with none of the fat. It's not some artificial product either. They roast the peanuts then press them to remove the fat/oil. Yes, technically it's mostly "good" fat but moderation is still needed plus obviously added sugars/hfcs and preservatives when you buy pb in the stores. You can take a fish oil supplement or eat something to get the omega 3s in still.
