I tried to put this in the "get back/keep in shape" thread just to be ignored so I decided to bring it here

The broken bone thread had me thinking
(I broke my big toe on my left foot btw, but I went to the doc late and it had already healed messed up)

whenever I get on a treadmill and try to run, at about the 8-9 minute mark my left ankle starts to give out and I start to feel pain
would my toe being broke be the reason I can't run past that time?
would it have an effect on my motion/mechanics?

because of this whenever I hit the gym I typically just hit the treadmill at 4 speed and 15% interval for an hour, but I myself would rather just run moreoften
any help would be appreciated

I wouldn't really know
I don't get too technical with my workouts
I just hop on the treadmill and go

Considering the big toe functions in balance, im sure youre overcompensating and causing pain in your ankle.

that sux
so I'm pretty much screwed for life?

When I went to the Doc he told me basically that since it healed all messed up he can't go in and break it and let it heal properly

I feel like I pretty much answered my own question...FML

Let this be a lesson to you guys never play a video game with the portable radiator and your toddler neice nearby and If u do go to the hospital asap
