I don't mind seeing the Fire Red V crumble like that.
I mean look at it, atleast it was worn and beaten to death.
Rather than saran wrap in plastic, and made to look at.

wearing the shoe (in moderation) not only gives them a "meaningful purpose" before death
but it also extends the life of the shoe

two different benefits of wearing them

add in "proper care" and your AJ might last 20 years before you have to worry
i am not convinced the midsole specifically on og Nikes were any better than now
a lot of the cracking you guys talk about isn't cracking of the midsole at all (Pics in this post are another story)
its actually just the white paint chipping/flaking off
i have shoes that are 10 years old, the paint chipped early on, but the midsole never cracked at all...

Why waste money on shoes and not wear them, they are sneakers for goodness sake not food. No need to saran wrap them. you see the outcome of doing such smh

me neither,the only type of shoes id try to keep stored are shoes with icey sole's but i would still wear them every once in a while
