Because you've acted like everything in this world is straightforward. Look around you. Racism is more concealed these days, but it's still here.

Again, I brushed it off. It wasn't just me who got that feeling about what he said, it was the delivery and seriousness of the guy until I explained what the shirt was.

As someone mentioned, it is rather ironic that you mention the NRA hat and tell us that he "looks" like hes from Alabama. Basically youre judging him off of appearance. Kinda like what a racist or ignorant person would do....y'know, judge someone based on appearance.
