I mean technically you’ll be fine regardless, there are plenty of trains and buses in this city, how convenient it actually is to commute with public transport outside of manhattan is highly exaggerated by ya, let alone say public transport in the other boroughs or between boroughs is better than driving...lol
try going from 233rd street in the Bronx to Park Slope Brooklyn....matter of fact, here is what the commutes look like
peep the hour long discrepancy in catching the train vs driving, please explain how exactly is relying solely on public transport to commute is more convenient...

The plaque is registered to my car, ya acting as if you wouldn’t do the same having the opportunity, as long as I don’t take up a handicap designated spot while she’s not with me, d be a fool to not take advantage of being able to park in loading zones and most No Parking areas and not feed the meter either....SO YEAH IS VERY NICE.

I remember the one time I flew back from Thailand and I told my wife to let’s just troop it home using public transport from JFK to Yonkers instead of paying 120$ for an Uber....needless to say, we spent 30$ total and it took us Damn near 4 hours to get home....lmaooooooooo

Steezy wyling though with the drive times. At times it is pretty quick to the city (we arent talking rush hours), other times it can take a while from just random city traffic. I drive to the city from the Bronx a good 4-6 times a week all different times and it will take me 30 min to an hour. Wont be surpried however long it takes me, just the way it is. If I need to be somewhere at a certain time ill give myself a SOLID hour to get there and hope I just get there early.

Bruh on the most horrible of circumstances, meaning blocked 2 lanes the most it’s taken me to get from Yonkers all the way to downtown BK has been 1:20 on average no matter the time it won’t be over an hour and on times other than rush hour, I’m there in 35 minutes.....no matter what by train give your self a solid 2 hours to make the same commute...it’s ridiculous...lol

it's a benefit given to people who are handicapped. i'm not handicapped. THAT'S the point.
also, my son in the car sees what i do and i don't want him to see his dad being a scumbag.

Im in the BX and I can make it to DT BK in 35 min...at 3am in the morning with absolutely no traffic.
Id say an average drive with moderate traffic, from where I live in the north Bronx to say Dumbo, atleast 45 min to an hour.
