Ran into @ksteezy in the train

ksteezy ksteezy how often is da D train on time? these dudes swear ish runs like a clock. :lol:

Tbh I wouldn’t know train schedules, all I know is even if they on time and you know their arrival, you still have to walk to the damn station, often times you’d have to transfer from train to train or to a bus which is even worst, for example, for me to get to the heights via public transport, I’d have to catch two bee line buses, just to get to the 1/9 trains, then wait for that to ride it into 207th which is like what? 15 minutes? At the very least, then I’d have to walk several blocks to my favorite restaurant, factor in the weather...ain’t nobody got time for all that...a 25 minute drive turns into a 1.5 hour commute by bus/train....ya dudes are BUGGING.

to cross from the heights into Fordham you gonna be stuck in the sane damn traffic in the bus as you’d be in a car, unless the buses have some secret street I don’t know of...lol

Anything outside of Manhattan you are straight up caping if you say mass transit is more convenient...absolute ******** :lol

you boys can keep ya buses and trains :rofl:

Facts, people act as if they get off the train and BAM, they at the destination. NOPE, still gotta walk to wherever you need to go which may be deep as hell from the train.

There is no 9 train :{

And you live in the middle of nowhere of course public transportation is annoying for you

At least 90% of places in manhattan if not more are close to a train station or at the worst a bus station

Bro I live accross the damn street from the metro north, I can take that and be in Grand Central in 24 minutes....prove me wrong and show me any commute outside the island where a train gets you there faster...

even to cross the bridge you doing that faster in your own car and let’s not forget a bus ain’t gonna cut through lanes and beat traffic like you can in your car....

Damnnnnn 9 train was discontinued in 2005!!!? I’m old...lmaoooo that’s probably the last time I even rode a train in the bx...damn....lmaooooo

according to Alp you don’t have to take more than 10 steps between train and bus connections....lol ya always clowning on ninja for saying he lives in a bubble, but ya live a lifestyle that is easily connected with a couple of train lines and consider Yonkers “the middle of nowhere” :rollin

The Bronx has the worst commute. Traveling within the city is a breeze. If I'm bouncing between boroughs I'm taking the car.

NY might be he only place people would really argue public transportation > having your own car. U couldn’t put me to use public transportation. Give me a truck wherever I go idc.

nah only young boys ride with that ideology, like I said the only dudes I’m giving a pass to are those that live and work within the island, you commuting between boroughs in a train and catching bus transfers YOU A BUM.

Hell if you even think commuting to most places within the same borough outside of the island is better than driving your own car, you are bugging, it would take me at least 1hour to get from tremont to Yankee stadium on the bus or train...I can do that in 10 minutes driving :rollin

is parking expensive in manhattan? i'd imagine thats a big factor for people as well.

It really depends where in Manhattan, uptown is like any other borough, you’ll find parking on the street if you look, same for Harlem, things only get rough around midtown, once you get into lower Manhattan you can find parking there too, on sundays is easy pickins, but like I said, if you live and work within the island, you get the pass, I personally wouldn’t drive if I had that life, I’d still own a car for everything else though, as I assume my life simply wouldn’t be home and work, it appears Alp lives a simple enough life that the trains do it for him....no knock on him....but he shouldn’t advertise that **** like is fact for everyone else, you want a life, you want to experience ALL OF NY, get yourself some wheels.
