I feel like Budden could go into an album with a whole new perspective from the past few years (life after “retirement”, pod, industry dealings etc.), plus having more knowledge and leverage within the industry and the platform/visibility to have full control over the project and how it’s handled.

Got in an admittedly dumb argument over this. I love hip hop and believe its for everyone. Break dancing is probably the purest art form of hip hop built by black and brown people. The lack of representation was concerning but understandable for the Olympic stage. Again, hip hop is for everyone.

The Aussie chick flopping around wasn’t funny to me at all. The fact someone can gain such notoriety and possibly one of the highest athletic achievements doing “that” for something built by us angers me.

Props to the IOC for trying something new and shining a light. But maybe breaking isn’t meant for the Olympic stage.
