Him & Freaky T the only ones I know up there, everybody else I ain’t heard of
BK name been buzzin for a while now. They key nyata one is the least known one up there.

Wild to see Ferg in another group. Wild to see groups in 2026.

Ppl saying he lying, but this is how I heard it :lol 🤷🏾‍♂️ :hat

Jim Jones' version of "Day & Night" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That's what brought my attention to Cudi. Never cared to hear anything else.

Capo :smokin :smokin

I just wish Kanye would go away. Dudes been trash musically since like 08.

Always used to blow me, when ***** said he “couldn’t rap”. He was saying some ****. Just straight forward and unconventional from an NYC rapper at the time. Damn near the up north jeezy. I swear...this version of Day n Night I heard ever before CuDi.

Don't know about the deal situation, but I definitely heard Jim's version before I heard Cudi's.
Never even knew there was a Jim Jones version.
Kid Cudi’s Day N Nite was massive in my country.
If it was that big over here, I’d find it hard to believe it only became a thing in the US because of Jim Jones

Different audiences. Jim was coming off of Ballin and doing his Skull Gang thing with Juelz. Wayne was hanging around them too. If you were a Dipset, Jim, Juelz or Wayne fan at this time, and checked for the stuff they dropped, you probably came across Jim's version first. Cudi was just 1 out of X backpack rappers with a blog post until it started gaining traction.

Yup. Thats kinda how I remembered it. I think I saw Jim version on WSHH or on smash or something. In like 08. Was bumping Jim, Max etc heavy at that time, and this made ME go check for the OG.

Funny, I’ve been saying that on NT for years :lol. Jim making it popular is surely a stretch (that was going to blow regardless, especially with Kanye backing him at that time), but it def put me on to Cudi, and made me take a close look. Times were diff back then
