Finally got to see Ye live. Incredible. Looked like he was enjoying himself cause he was hyping the crowd up, dancing, and cheesing hard lol.

He played every hit from every album but he opened up with the star spangled banner 🇺🇸

All falls down, through the wire, touch the sky, gold digger, say she will, heartless, stronger, can’t tell me nothing, bound 2, blood on the leaves, on sight, etc

TI dropped a good album, a few features he missed with hoping to get some young fans which was a mistake. I’d cut 3-4 songs.

He gotta shoot a video for this one

Lupe embarrassing himself. I understand why he’s bitter but it’s looking crazy. When you’ve created one of the best rap albums of all time and you have a few of the greatest rap songs, you should be way bigger.

Very conflicted. He crazy as hell and it's hard for me to play his music now but to see these songs live gotta be an EXPERIENCE.

The verse that put him on, live at the bbq, is heavy metaphorical in a figurative way..ehh maybe more shock value

I don’t think Nas is looked at a bar rapper

That’s not to say he’s not a lyricist. Of course he is. One of the best.

I didn’t listen to what Lupe said by the way. I stopped paying him any mind years ago.

I mean is Nas a heavy metaphor using rapper?
Don’t know that I’d consider him one. That’s the problem with the conversation Lupe was having, and how he framed his opinion about him.

There’s many things that can make a rapper great or a favorite. Maybe the real issue is that if one speaks their opinions, they’ll either come across as glazing or hating. Still don’t know the context of him bringing up two different rappers in two different contexts

Well Lupe is a jaded hater

My thing is that lyricism comes in different forms but we just group it under one umbrella

Cannabis, Nas and Big L are all lyricists in different ways.

Ultimately, I don’t think the clickbait headline doesn’t get the attention if he doesn’t mention Nas.

If he was simply having a discussion with that podcast about whatever rapper he feels is the greatest lyricist, then great.

But saying there’s so many that are better is where he went left.

Also just listened to what Lupe said, and people are overreacting.

The podcast read a YouTube comment that mentioned Nas and lyricism. And Lupe responded. Was it a little nonsensical? Sure but it wasn’t that crazy.

Lupe overrated, somebody gotta say it. All the people he take shots at make better music than him. He keep comparing Dot or Nas to some obscure super underground rappers that only he knows. We don't care sir.

Been thought this.

I thought it with the whole him and Royce fiasco and how that went left because dude seems bipolar, but people picked sides according to who they liked better.
