Cole's problem is he's a great lyricist who's tryna be an artist. He too far into his own space and he suffers because of it. I'm sorry but his **** is boring. Beats are average, melodies arent needed and his hooks are close to awful. He's not put to sleep boring but boring nontheless to me. He tries to hard to be artsy instead of just spitting. Not everybody can be artsy. He just needs to do what he does on features.

yo Drake really is uber successful bc he is the archetype/cariacture of the dudes who really go hard for him.

its plenty of mixed half white half black dudes like him who come to mind on campus who are dap up and what u been up to small talk cool but hang around them too much they’ll start slowly leaking cornballism from their pores.

no disrespect to any mixed homies in here. my observation is its really dudes who are his skin tone in general, whether mixed, middle eastern, ambiguously hispanic its like they live vicariously through his ability to switch between races
