Dah Shanin
Do You Want More (still my favorite Roots album)
The Infamous
Tical

The rest are ok or I liked them at the time

I never was big on Me Against The World, it was very up and down and inconsistent

I never was big in to Redman and I was disappointed by that Keith album

do da math.

his prime was from 1985-1996, if you wanna give him till 2002 ill allow it

17 years.

Fat joe got 1993-now in 2020.

27 years.

We’re talking music right? Last biggest hit was 2006 for Fat Joe. LL last biggest hit was 2006.

But I may be wrong -didnt know folks was still listening to Joe?

Call me a hater but I just don't care to celebrate Kanye at this point. The way he has moved and got it sends the wrong message to me. The c**nin, the attention seeking, it's just too much clown ****. Begging and pleading for a pat a on the head. He got to where he want to be, good for him but I'm cool on celebrating that.

Every time I hear them call Dre or Hov or Puff a billionaire or close to it I'm just "aight". It's promotion, it sounds good. All of 'em got bread but when I hear that billionaire title get thrown around I don't take it dead serious.

That's what I'm saying.

The billionaire **** with most of them is smoke and mirrors.

Puff has to be losing money with Revolt. It hasn't added cable companies since it started.

Just like how Forbes will randomly say this rapper made $20, this rapper made $12 last year.

It's like trying to get on the XXL cover.

LL was a superstar putting out platinum albums for almost 20 years.

Fat Joe has been consistent, LL has been a star

hell naw, ll cool j was hot and cold every other album..

read da critical reviews...he had to reinvent himself a bunch of times.

after 1996 it was Jay-Z/DMX's world..he was Ron Harper on da Bulls at that point... respected vet getting rings, but them jumping outta gym Cavalier/clippers days was behind him.

whoa buddy that's Tupac's best album all eyez on me low-key got some filler...ask any tupac stan.

I've actually listened to Tupac since 2Pacalypse Now and Trapped. As in purchased.

I prefer the rawness of 2Pacalypse Now and Makaveli is his most complete album.

Huh?

people net worths are all evaluations & tied to the projected worth of their companies, of course Kanye doesn't have a billion dollars on hand, the same way Jay doesn't etc etc.

The point wasn't really to celebrate the hypothetical number, Point is Kanye Shouted at the top of his lungs about his worth to Nike, people called him entitled, claimed h nothing about design, told him to stick to tour merch etc etc.

In the span of FIVE years he's an owner of a Billion dollar company, this rise happened while Kanye was publicly doing everything a PR firm would have told him to do the opposite of. A monumental Come up for a *****
He sold his sole and spit on the ancestors and all black people around the world for his billion dollar company. **** that self hating non talented biter psychopathic biscuit boy.

Hot and cold?

Cold for him was still a platinum album.

Walking With A Panther, had hits songs, platinum

14 Shots, cold, hit songs, platinum

Pheonmenom, not even really a hit song, multi

GOAT....10...platinum platinum...hit songs...

Fat Joe isn't in LL's stratosphere.

I get your preference and it but you do realize the consensus among Tupac's stans is me against da world was it.

it's like me and a vocal minority praising Nas's it was written over illmatic and yet understanding that illmatic is more important culturally and heralded higher in his catalog.

Let me school you young grasshopper wavycrocket wavycrocket

These are lyrics you can :emoji_fire: :emoji_fire: :emoji_fire: to

When young sons fantasize of borrowing flows
Tell little shorty with the big mouth the bank is closed

The symbol on my arm is off limits to challengers
You hold the rusty swords, I swing the Excalibur
How dare you step up in my dimension
Your little *** should be somewhere cryin on detention
Watch your mouth better yet hold your tongue
I'ma do this **** for free this time this one's for fun
Blow you to pieces, leave you covered in feces
With one thesis ("LL Cool J is hard")
Every little boy wanna pick up the mic
And try to run with the big boys and live up to the real hype
But that's like picking up a ball, playing with Mike
Swingin at Ken Griffey or challenging Roy to a fight
Snapping, you amateur MC's
Don't you know I'm like the Dream Team touring overseas
For rappers in my circle I'm a deadly disease
Ringmaster, bringing a tiger cub to his knees
In the history of rap they've never seen such prominence
Your naive confidence gets crushed by my dominance
Now let's get back to this mic on my arm
If it ever left my side it'd transform into a time bomb
You don't wanna borrow that, you wanna idolize
And you don't wanna make me mad ***** you wanna socialize
And I'm daring every MC in the game
To play yourself out position, and mention my name
I make a rhyme for every syllable in your name
Go platinum for every time your grimy *** was on the train
Watch your mouth don't ever step out of line
LL Cool J *****, greatest of all time
