Putting an age restriction on hip hop is and will always be dumb. It's art and as long as someone is still doing it at a high level, there's nothing wrong with rapping into 50s and 60s.

The age limit thing IS crazy tho. I come from an era where most my favorite rappers didn't make it out their 30s if they even got to 30. So seeing these ONs thrive and dominate a game for the YNs is AMAZING to see

You keep trying to make this about Drake when for me it isn't. I don't need any entertainer to take a stand on anything. I think for myself, and I know how to read.

But pretending like you are taking a stand on things/doing things to uplift "Your community" when it's all thinly veiled ploys to enrich yourself is worse than saying nothing.

I still love the raps. The guy is a bozo, though.

50-year-olds should not rap.... AT ALL. The same way, if I cared about who Bruce Springsteen was, I wouldn't want him up there singing songs about cowboys or whatever he sings about. Certain things can be for young people only. Its OK. I wouldn't want to see Bron hooping at 50 either.

If you’re 40-60 and can still make great music, keep rapping. The idea you should stop because of your age is stupid. Nas, Jay and Scarface have made great music in their 40s and 50s.
