Selassie was not a perfect ruler, what man is?

But you can't overlook his impact and positive legacy.

Also means "I, with God's help" or "I, with God-in-me". Often used in place of "me". Because the people's Identity was destroyed in slavery, Identity is very important in RastafarI -- so I gets capitalIzed a lot. They pronounce the I's strongly in reggae songs. Emperor Haile Selassie I is not "the First" but "Haile Selassie *I*."

Why not?

If someone feels that the person they're worshiping is affecting their life in a positive way, I don't really see any problem with human worship.

That is the same reason people worship whatever deity they believe in, right?
