Man what Darryl needs to understand is the only reason any of them have ANYTHING is off the strength of Ray. Point blank. Darryl like the rest is a worker so he needs to just fall in line. Is it fair in the general sense? No. But at least the kid was out getting it on his own and got brought in because of natural talent and chutzpah. Darryl, not so much, he just lucked out by having the name Donovan, if that can even be called luck at this point.

They were going for the old and cliche guy's lover dies and then he's so distraught over it (and guilty) he thinks he sees her in other women.
Doesn't work here much. Mickey runs through black women. Plus he got mouth raped this season. Only one I believe he was close to loving was Darryl's mom. So it's harder to establish some emotional connection even though it was a pretty sad scene when she died. I mean at best Mickey knew her a couple weeks (going off how old Bunchy's baby is).
Then there's the whole black ppl look alike stereotype. I mean they could've at least chose an actress that looked like the other chick but hell in the end she was a just stripper plot device to get him to the rich douche to place those bets.

Yeah, 3 eps ago I could've thought of a way to kill all these Russians. That isn't hard. Adding in the FBI just made things a bit more difficult and complicated.
Unless they about to reveal the Ray Donovan world is a different one from ours where the Russian mob isn't in top 3 of global criminal organizations they better make sense of this. Cuz it just stops being realistic and Ray is just this lucky antihero.
That dumb **** Abby said at the end about its over and nobody can touch us had me first thinking oh that's foreshadowing for a massacre but then the party just went on with Ray smiling. So then it just got me mad like this ***** must be super dumb.
You can't just keep killing boss after boss that operates in Cali.
Hopefully they kill Abby and Connor first next season.
