Ready To Die Appreciation

^ I'll give you Illmatic and 36 Chambers, maybe. That's about it. Best album by the best rapper. Enough said.

That's your opinion & all, but I never got caught up in the hype.

Big was cool, but far from producing the best album of the 90's. After all the media attention & the hype, it's just not true..................

I'll co-sign that #!## aswell.

Like I said before RTD is a classic in every sense, but lets keep things in perspective.

No way theres more than 5 albums from the 90s better than Ready To Die . . . NO way in the world. I'll give you
-Illmatic

Everything else is all subjective to ones taste . . . I personally perfer OB4CL over Ready To Die, and prolly Infamous also because I've been listening toboth of those on a constant basis since their releases . . . Tho I always liked BIG, at age 9 the true beauty of Ready To Die wasn't recognized by me tillprolly age 15 . . . But its deffinetly one of the 10 greatest hip hop albums EVER IMO. You just can't get such a wide range of emotion, with such greatskill being displayed . . . This album is truly like no other. The production is great, and at the end of the day the album is conceptually clever from thebirth in the intro, to the suicide on the albums final track . . . Besides "Friend Of Mine"

the album truly is flawless . . .

Another album not mentioned, which I believe to be among the BEST of the 90s without a doubt is Doggystyle . . . Now THAT album is incredible, and for somereason it never gets the props it deserves on NT, its a lot better and more fluent then The Chronic which lags at times . . .

Call me crazy but I may take Doggystyle over Ready To Die . . . BIG was a HUGE Snoop fan himself.

Nevermind . . . There's ATLEAST 15-20 albums from the 90s much better than Ready To Die . . . Not sure if I can cosign some of the ones named in here tho .. .
