Just watched what K-Mart said to the media about how he will handle it face to face with cuban.

It would be one thing if he went after Kenny but dude, how can you be that soft to go after the guys mother, who is a native of the Dallas area?

I respected Cuban for being a passionate Owner who sometimes crossed the line but this was just dumb.

Cuban has lost most of my respect due to this.

Get him K-Mart, let him know how you are a "thug"

And he knew it was his mom because she was sitting there in the front with a Kenyon Martin jersey on. She wasn't saying anything to him. In fact, here iswhat the one of other Mavs fans, who again are generally biased as @*!%, are saying about the incident.

Just heard Galloway talking about some friends he had who witnessed the whole thing. Keep in mind these people are supposedly die hard Mavs fans. They said Martin's mom and stepdad were very low key throughout the whole game, but were getting harrassed by Mavs fans to the point where she started crying. Soon after Cuban made his derrogatory remark about KMart, at which point KMart's mom tried to go over the rail after Cuban, and was restrained by her husband. According to Galloway these were reliable witnesses.

Cuban's act got old A LONG time ago. You're an owner, not an average, blue-collar fan, no matter how hard you try to make yourself look like one. And Ithink him treating his players with all that good stuff is overrated, especially now. I bet most teams hook their players up with stuff at the arena/practicefacility these days. And it's not like Cuban's been able to reel in top free agents so there goes that aspect. It always used to be "Whowouldn't want to come to Dallas and play for a passionate owner like Cuban, who will roll out the red carpet for you!"

that had nothing to do with that game. okay so she heckled him before, I don't see how that makes it okay to say something so rude andoffensive like that.

Update No. 2: I either fell asleep for two minutes or TNT didn't air this, but Art Garcia of the NBA.com Playoff Blog reports Martin came to the defense of his mother, Lydia, who is sitting about six rows up near the Denver end, while officials were reviewing a play in the second quarter. Apparently, K-Mart unleashed hell at the Dallas fans sitting around her:

"You [expletive] better cut the [expletive]," he shouted, as team personnel tried to pull him back to the huddle. "You're going to get [expletive] up."

Martin then said to his mother: "Somebody do something to you, you better tell me. I'm going to [expletive] somebody up."


Security came to the area to speak with Martin's mom, but she remained in her seat. Yikes.
