You know clear coat, like when painting a car after laying the coat of paint you spray the clear coat to give it that shine and to also to protect and make the surface strong. That answer ur question

It won't be as shiny it all depends on how many coats of clear u put on, the more u put the more shiny it gets. And one of my dudes tried it on his 3's two years ago and it came out looking good, don't have pics tho

so the item is just called clear?? who makes it?

Look for Acrylic finisher (sealant) Angelus web sit carries it.
