Damn. LeBron the only one that panned out as a superstar. :eek Nike really took a gamble on these dudes not knowing exactly who would be the next big thing along Lebron.

Gooden, Wagner, Butler, Chandler, Jefferson, Prince, Stoudemire, & Lebron.

I used to have that poster back in the day. Even a year later I was already wondering why all those dudes are on the poster with Lebron :lol

Amar'e was a legit superstar for a while.

Amare Was def a Superstar and one of the most exciting players in the L for a long time... He deserved that look but everyone else nahhhh lol

wagner?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..straight wackness

Eh, I reserve the word superstar for the elite of the elite. He was a star, all-star though.
Amare had half a season on the Knicks where he played at Superstar level, other than that just a very exciting all-star.

The only time I considered Amare a superstar was when he played with Nash preinjury.

At one point in time my sig was "Amare Stoudemire will be the next NBA player to score 70 points". :{

He used to make 40 pt. games look so easy. I just knew he would have one of those "perfect storm" games. Oh well. At this point it's all about health.

damn, time flies :{

I would've said this is fairly recent but this is about 10 years ago :{

Amare was no superstar. :{ All Star yes. You can thank Nash for making him look like a superstar in his PHX days. What did he say just a few days ago? "No one ever taught me defense." I mean come on Amare. :{ :x

I remember contemplating if I was gonna buy his jersey at Marshalls when it was on sale for $50 :lol

STAT was no joke. His first half with the Knicks was solid. I don't think you can say he wasn't a superstar.

I'm with you on the old part man. I was coming in here expecting to see that commercial. Thanks for the post. That is what made me fall in love with the flight 95!

I laughed at first..... but the more I thought about this, any stud, athletic player that has Nash at PG, I think, could have a shot at 70..............

amare was NEVER a superstar

superstar status isn't given to a player just because of the skill

its more than that

but damn.. i remember this picture.... i had the poster in my room, they gave it to me at niketown when i bought a pair of sneakers
