Ehh, Amare was a great player and played at a superstar level for a short duration but that alone does not make you a superstar. The real superstars in the NBA are the ones who have played at an ELITE level for seasons on top of seasons and are the faces of their team. LeBron, Kobe, Dirk, Durant, Wade... those guys along with a few others are the superstars of this league. Amare is not on the level of those guys and never was.

PLUS amare isnt/wasnt a superstar..

superstar isnt just in basketball you gotta be known to more than a casual fan.

Kobe, Lebron, Blake, etc superstars. They are known outside of the game. people who dont even know basketball. Blake IMO isnt a superstar talent since he has no offensive game and cant play defense but everyone knows who he is and hes a top talent in the league.
