Nobody is searching for pity. We're recognizing and mourning an artist, regardless of how he died.

Edit: and he was taking drugs because of that plane crash, as he'd been clean for years.

Yeah, it was a really bad situation. I remember a couple Loveline appearances before the plane crash where he told Dr. Drew he was in a much better place. He tried to kill himself at one point (at his lowest point) and the gun jammed, or something. He snapped out of it, got clean, got bypass surgery, and was in great health. He was doing great until the plane crash. Then the doctors prescribed opiates, and he spiraled back into the abuse. Very sad situation. It was a very twisted road back to addiction for him, one that could have been prevented with a little more forethought.

Saw him a few months before he passed away at Coachella performing along with Travis. Crazy to think it's been 3 years.

I play his mixes every once in a while, he was dope. RIP.

dudes need a reality check.. i swear, you could create a major impact through your life experiences and you get losers like this throwing out some ignorant remarks about something they think they know all about. do your homework before yo go and call someone out for their faults and mistakes. like you never made a mistake in your life |I i could go on with this, but you've shown your character to us, so no need to explain any further.
