RIP George Floyd

and then they want to go beat on press and arrest them and try to DESTROY video evidence. Then claim her arrest was "in the heat of the moment".

They all the same. How can they expect anyone too feel anything when theyve been wrongly killing for decades.

Frank Meeink was a top neo-Nazi who inspired Edward Norton’s character in “American History X.” He now speaks out against it—and says members of his old neo-Nazi crew became cops.

In October of 2006, the FBI released an intelligence assessment titled, “White Supremacist Infiltration of Law Enforcement.” Though the document—culled from FBI investigations and open sources—was heavily redacted, it reached a number of disturbing conclusions.

The assessment revealed that white supremacists “have historically engaged in strategic efforts to infiltrate and recruit from law enforcement communities”; that many of these white-supremacist infiltrators are known as “ghost skins” who “avoid overt displays of their beliefs to blend in”; and that the KKK have longstanding “ties to local law enforcement.” These firm ties between white supremacists and law enforcement persist to this day. Last year, Reveal published an investigative series exposing the police’s proclivity for Facebook hate groups and racist memes, and in late August, former FBI agent Michael German compiled an exhaustive report detailing the prevalence of “racism, white supremacy, and far-right militancy in law enforcement” and the federal government’s non-existent response to it.

“I know that there are neo-Nazis who I used to run with who are now cops,” he tells The Daily Beast. “And that’s just in my crew. Imagine how many neo-Nazis and white nationalists have been becoming cops? Three of the people in my crew alone became cops.”

I hope the settlement isn’t contingent upon the family not being able to pursue charges against the officer that killed Breonna. If that’s the case and the family is happy just with the financial settlement and the police reform that is going to come with this case then that’s on them.

unfortunately, thats usually the case.
these "reforms" aint **** but lip service

So they payed Hush money ????? After we caught them trying to pin the drug charges on Breonna Taylor ?

i wish the family didn't settle
this is a huge setback to everyone killed by police who have yet to receive justice of any kind, especially at this moment in history

Grand Jury is still happening so technically charges can still happen

But even if they do, well we know they won't amount to much if anything.

We know what this settlement is and what is is trying to accomplish but we should not let it deter the pressure, momentum or progress of a movement. The target should still be on Daniel Cameron and ppl of his ilk

Tax payer money = Cop walk free

we’re literally funding Our own lynching

This is facts unfortunately. Normally agreeing to a settlement prevents charges from sticking. A settlement is basically the cops saying hey we made some mistakes but you did too and the family being like yeah you're right. You goofed but my daughter could've done XYZ too so let's agree to disagree by accepting your money.

As I posted in the Political Thread...........

The US Supreme Court ruled AGAINST no knock warrants in Wilson vs. Arkansas in 1995. Hopefully the family of Breonna Taylor still goes forward with a case against the Louisville Police Department if they are still able to given the negotiations of this settlement. That’s why it’s good to know case laws and passed decisions and rulings. The attorney for the Taylor family should hopefully know this and use the ruling of Wilson vs. Arkansas as precedence in a case against the Louisville Police Department and bringing charges to the cop that killed Breonna.

It's easy for people to say what her family should or shouldn't accept for her dying.

I'm assuming the details of the settlement haven't been made public, but I chill on the rush to judgement on her fam.
