river rafting in sac?

a friend of mine mentioned that we should get a group to do this, so im trying to plan it, but have no idea where to start. can anyone help me out, whichcompany should i use for this? any tips?

Let me be the first to warn you tho, the river is dirty as hell. First time I went there I was swimming and jumping off the cliff into the river... Next day Ihad these bumps all over my body... not the business -_-, oh yeah the bumps went away tho.

American River, it's weak though Cruising down the river is really relaxing and there's a small cliff where you can park and jump off of. My friendprovides the rafts though.

It's fun as hell. Check out American River. I went w/ keepdasneak, and a couple other heads. Make sure you bring girls too. Girls be all up on ya

I rolled up two blunts and just passed them around, we all had beers in our hands. I jumped off the raft at the end and swam against the current to the shorewhen I was blown as hell

Bring food but bring a cooler too cause everything is gonna get wet.

Next time it will be white water rafting.

2. Be careful...a couple of years ago I saved some drunk girls from drowning after their raft flipped over/caught on a tree. Had to swim them to shore because they didn't have life vests on.

Dont get me wrong, rafting is fun as hell but just the fact that the next day I got some kind of skin reaction out of it just killed my mood. Besides that, it's fun. I planned a rafting trip last year for like 20+ people. Bought a keg and rented a smaller raft so we could put the keg on thatjank. Further down the river we stopped at the cliff area where people jump off and started doing keg stands. Now that I think about it I remember there waslike a 50+ white lady there who wanted some beer. Funny thing is my friend who was pumping the keg started pouring it on her, next thing you know she does akeg stand... Next thing you know, she flashes us. My general reaction was

, it was my first time seeing someone flash their tatas just for the hell ofit.

Rafting down the american river is sweet. It's calm water which is perfect for partying without having to do too much steering. American river raft rentalsis right off of 50 and sunrise blvd. I'll be out there on Aug. 23. If you want to do a little more serious rapids head towards placerville they go up tostage 4 which is pretty fast, you gotta have skillz in it. If you go down the American off of sunrise there is a spot for female mud wrestling and a nicelittle ledge to jump off of. 3 day weekends really crack off though but the last few major weekends the cops have killed it for everyone, F'n HATERS!You'll have a good time though. As far as getting a skin rash, I've never heard of that before and I've partied in that river plenty of times.Doubt the rash was from the river.

Word of advice people are gonna be sprayin' you with water cannons and water balloons so plan on getting wet even if you weren't planning on gettingwet. Put any valuables (like a lighter) in a ziplock double bagged.

My friend did it, kinda. She was on the ledge and she lost her footing and slipped, she banged against the floor boards while holding onto therail, then she let go fell into the water.

Man, I went like 3 years ago twice, and it was so fun. We brought beer and coasted down the AR with family and friends for 5 hours. We stopped by that 25 ftcliff and jumped down from it. We did BBQ first, before we went rafting. Good times
