I wanna like dude but he is overwhelmingly corny to me man, like Hopsin level. He be going way too hard to try and prove he not a industry plant, for no reason at all.

I get the grassroots come up is good marketing but damn. I don't see why he feel the need to go on Vlad, make songs about it, rant at his shows etc like bruh okay you not a industry plant we get it, it's been 2 years at this point and you have a solid loyal *** fanbase

just bought tickets to see him play at soundstage in Baltimore right down the street from my house


I do agree though that the topics are repeated on a lot of his projects... a lot of the same subject matter. But the new album has some bangers.

Man I want to like Russ too. His singles were great and there is definitely some good music on the album but I hate that he has the "need to prove himself".

Dude can rap, sing, and produce. He has all the tools to be successful in todays rap.

Never been a Russ fan but checked it based off the features. Color me surprised. 8.8/10 project. Thoroughly enjoyed it. My only critiques is the hooks are some what lazy. I’m okay with that because of how good the raps are.
