Sup NT, has anyone ever sold their ideas to companies (or other people) and made some good money off of it?

Do you have an prototype?
Are you just wanting to sell an idea? <---- Nobody is paying for ideas they need some kind working knowledge.
Are you looking for first round financing? <----Best bet are angle investors or friend and family. VC's are not really talking to peps in need of first round financing unless you are in the field they are investing in at the time.
