With their win tonight, the Boston Celtics go to a record of 26-3. Doing the math, we see that after 58 games they will be 52-6 (not saying its going tohappen, but you never know), and in a total of 82 games they are on pace for 73-9/74-8 record, which would ultimately break the Bulls mark of 72-10.
Now, I dont think they are up there to touch the Bulls team of 72-10. That was a pretty amazing team. But, with looking at what Boston is on pace for, a fewquestions now come up.
1) What record do you think Boston will have after 82 games?
2) If the Celtics to stay on pace for what is predicted, how would you rank them in the history of NBA Great teams? Can they be mentioned as a great NBA team?
I think they are going to be around what Dallas had last year, around 67-15. As for how they can be listed in NBA history, I have no idea where to put them.Insight NT?
