OK so last nite my friends and i were playin ball. Keep in mind i havent played in a about a year so i was hurt since i hadnt been jogging in a while. Duringthe 2nd game my boy elbows me in the face and i fall on my knee all akward. My knee was hurtn for 10 mins but i kept playn then i started to run i heard a teartype sound. From then on my knee kinda hurt when i bent it the area around the knee would tightn. This moring i can barely bend it i called out from work. Idont if i should go to doctor?Im walking a round limping and it feels like its gonna give out. I dont have my insurance card so i dont know if i should og whenit might be nothing. Sorry but i thought some nters would know about these kind of stuff.

Nah man don't go to the doctor I remember when I had a few bullet wombs I didn't go and they healed right up.

You could have A.) Hyperextended it or B.) Torn a ligament. It sounds like it could be either by the way you described it. My advice, go to the doctor.

so does that mean you can give birth to guns?

At your age, you should go. If you don't let it heal properly, it'll slow you down for the rest of your life.

i poped my acl playing ball, i didnt think it was anything at first but the next day i couldnt my knee either
so yeah go to a doc
and yeah the surgery is gonna suck

well i think hes a little scared because he doesnt have insurance.

i know this is a tough decision because youre gonna need an xray, then an order for an mri and those alone will run some $$$$.

if you want do this:

r - rest
i - ice it for first 24hrs
c- compression heating pads the nx day
e - elevate your knee with a couple pillows

also take some ibuprofen and try that for a couple days.

I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. Ice it first and take a few Ibuprofen. Its obvious that it's swollen and sometimes complications with injuries areproblematic because of the swelling. Ice it first and stay off of it as much as u can. As far as the ice, 15 on, 15off, repeat. Give it another 24hrs, if noimprovement, then you should go. I know how it is to not have insurance and need to go to the doctor. The last think you wanna do is go and they say "Oh,u just sprained it" and u get a $500 bill for that.

Thanks for the responses guys. I dont have an insurance card will my insurance company give me something over the phone?Man i hope this isnt expensive i donthave a lot of money right now.

I aint been to the Doc in years, One summer at the track I ran real hard, blew my knee out. I rest did light leg machines took my vitamins. I'm great thesedays. Look into ElastiJoint like I said and take it easy. U don't got insurance don't screw yourself.

niketalk??? lol

I thinks it's safe to assume that he does have swelling since he couldn't bend it this mornin.

There u go. I actually think ice would be best at the early stages of the injury but I'm not a pharmacist so what do I know.

Go to the emergency room. Then have your insurance company pay the bill when it comes
