SMART Gilas Pilipinas Nat'l Team Program

huge win for Gilas earlier. Casio with some big shots down the stretch but it was Dondon who carried the team all night.

Asi proving that his "The Rock" moniker ain't just a nickname. He did a great job playing tough defense on Jordan's center.

‎(Halftime) Smart Gilas PHL 49 - 36 Taiwan NT

Gilas still leading despite the refs obviously favoring the home team.. Gilas could have been up by more if not for the refs awarding free throws to Taipei...

Solid win. I really feel that we are one legit big man away from really causing trouble in the Olympics (assuming we get in). ADMU should really develop Slaughter.

Gilas won again, 90-79! Kahit sobrang luto ng mga referees... hahaha...

Tomorrow will be a tougher task as they will go up against Jordan.

Damn.. wasn't able to watch the game.. But i think it's a good loss, it's better to have a setback this early than have it during the knockout phase.

The first one to the face was ducked but the second one I think connected to the body. The Malaysian sure knew he did something coz he was ready to avoid Asi's attacks. If Asi's first swing connected I bet tha dude wouldve been down for the count.
