. "Dudes" that hit the ignore button only prove howfeminine they truly are. It's almost as bad as hitting the report button.

man no offense deuce you know you my dude ... but so far today youve said that blueprint was the greatest all around album in history and that eminem onrenegade didnt have a purpose ... i mean ... i hate the ******** ... ... lol

If Em produces the track then Jay doesn't have a chance, he can flow as well as Em on Em's own beat.

You aight with me Marley, but here is how it goes........

1. IMO Blueprint is the most complete hip hop album, I believe I mentioned the reasons earlier, again it's not the best album of all time but to me ifthere is one album that you had to described or show to a person that didn't understand or know what hip hop is about, I think this album would be theshowcase for that.

2. Em had a purpose on Renegade, but I think Jay's direction/words was more direct and personal for me. Not taking anything away from Em. Like I saidearlier it goes without saying that Em's flow on Renegade as better than Jay's.

3. Still anti-******* so that's still intact

.

If Jay spits some @!** like he did om Brooklyn or I did it for Hip Hop, Em will slaughter him worse than he did on Renegade.

Nobody can say Jay got murked....Jays verse was sick!!! Eminems was just better but why cant people just say it was a hot track and leave it at that

Cuz __s think rap is a sporting event and it ain't, that's why. It's always My guy vs. Your guy to some of these clowns. I agree withDeuce for what it's worth. Personally, I actually think Jay was just a little bit better on Renegade. Both artists took the meaning of the song in theirown personal direction, but Jay's verse was aimed more in mine. I just so happen to relate to pockets full of lint and ashy knuckles more so than Latterday Saints and Shady's bouts with industry scapegoating. That's what it boils down to 8 years later. All 4 verses were executed flawlessly andsprinkled with gem after gem, but Jay's message hasn't faded over time like Em's has IMO.

i used to like your drawn out explanations and theories dear winter, hell i even read your ti thread when i knew for a fact you were on drugs writing it ...but saying that jay was better than em on rengade, i dunno man ... commit that

Plus some of his freestyles were better then that.

your post got progressively worse as it went on
laugh.gif
... now i know em got some freestyles that were official, but no way in hell
Get outta here, I listened to Em's freestyle taps back front front back, gotta draw those from my archives, but trust Em has some freestylesthat kill renegade, to me that is when he shines the most when he is not caring and having fun.. And "I had a dream I said, bout who he said, bout Big Isaid, thats big he said, dig what he said, proceed he said, indeed I said, so grieve I did" come on man that song proves that he had so much love for big, Jay doesn't show it like everyone else but the emotion in that song put it up there alone. I like to here the inner turmoil of a rapper, the anti-societyin each word.,the side that you don't get to see, along with a message, all that gun talk has been played out since throwbacks went out of style It may nothave been the most clever song, but as far as a song goes, that was pure poetry. Renegade was dope but I don't hold it in such high regard as everyone onthis board seems to and I'm a huge fan of both of them.

1. I don't do "drugs".... unless you count vicoden...but still, I wasn't even under the influence of weed when I made thatthread. Tip IS that dude.
2. Suicide ain't my forte and murder ain't yours. Let's stick to what we both know

(That would have made a really cool subtle threat, wouldn't it?

3. You are far from the only person in this thread with a hole to crap from. You feel me?

i wonder if jay has a
eek.gif
verse tucked away for the day he gets on a track with em again. i mean it has to bother him when people say the best verse on one ofhis best albums belongs to em.

And Marley, I gotta disagree on some points. Em's best IS NOT better than Jay's best. At their peaks, both are flawless. How can one perfect be better than another perfect? I'll give you this though; Em is the most proficient rhyme scheme driven MC, ever. Nobody is seeing his schemes.

False. Em's best>*

Co- Mutha F_n- Sign.

I used to bump Em religiously in my younger days..but so much of his lyrical content means absolutely nothing to me today. The perfection of his flow onRenegade can't be denied....but "I had to hustle, back to the wall...ashy knuckles"....thats gonna resonate with a _ til the casket drops.

- ive always felt this way.
- matter of fact ive always found it extremly lame the way cats put so much time and effort into who outshined who on a track more specifically THAT TRACK.before renegade i cant remember a time when that was so important. em shined on Jay on renegade big deal. imo its childish to say just because its your cd youhave to outshine all guests, c'mon man, seriously? i can remember a slew of posse cuts or cuts with more than one mega star, and who shined the brightestwasnt important at all.

- i take some of that back. i do remember it being a big deal on 321 with LL and Canibus. but that was because of their beef behind the scenes.

*Examples*
- off the books (Beatnuts, Pun, Cuban Link)
- John Blaze (Pun, Fat Joe, Nas, Jada, Raekwon)
- Murder (Jay, Ja, DMX)

^^ those tracks were off the hook at the time and i dont remember it ever being an issue about who outshined who. we was just happy to get all them cats to dotheir thing. however, the *$%#!$** these kids today hold as a guage on whats hot today is sad. they focusing on the wrong $#!#. its just like how swag meanseverything now.....why? you could be the most garbage cats out there with flow delivery and rhymes but as long as your swag is up there you good. yeah....okay.
