SoCal Food/Grub Thread

Need some good breakfast spots in the LB coast line areas. Maybe from Sunset Beach up as far as Manhattan Beach? Trying to go somewhere Saturday morning with the GF after the gym, but I can't remember the last time I had breakfast to be honest :lol: (SRS)

I'm into good egg white scrambles, she's a potato fiend. Not too crazy into the sweets but she is :lol:

can anybody recommend me any bomb burger, mexican, pizza joints in long beach please? kinda bored of eating at hooters and johnny rockets when i go skate LB

i think there's a 5 Guys in LB. That place is pretty legit for burgers.

Good cheap pizza @ Deli News. GREAT sammiches and pizza at Milk Barn on Del Amo/Bellflower
Long Beach Cafe is awesome for the price too.
Sharkys in DTLB has some great nachos

thank you for looking out, i was recommended deli news as well and LB cafe looked good but never went inside. my friends and i always stay in downtown so we might check out sharkys

I've tried Spaghetti Eddies in Glendora http://www.yelp.com/biz/spaghetti-eddies-italian-restaurant-glendora, Aruffio's Italian Cuisine in Claremonthttp://www.yelp.com/biz/aruffos-italian-cuisine-claremont, and Alfredos in San Bernardino http://www.yelp.com/biz/alfredos-pizza-and-pasta-san-bernardino.

All those places all have huge portions when you order. Out of the three tho I'd probably pick Arufflo's Italian Cuisine. The bread at Arufflo's is good too.

LOL it's weird. I live literally down the street from Spaghetti Eddies and never tried it! hmmm.. may need to go in one of these days.
 
favorite food that ive been on for a while (thanks to my girl) has been Thai

Ban Thai in Riverside has been my to go spot
any good recommendations ?

i know my fellow Asian brethren :lol: know of good places here

Johnny, you gotta try this spot in Corona off the 15 and Ontario Avenue... it's right behind the Starbucks next to Sombreros.

Didn't think we'd ever find a good Thai spot out here in the IE, but we were wrong. Their Pad Thai is up there with the best.

Oinkster in Eagle Rock. They're burgers and pastrami are so on point. Don't sleep on the ube shake either.

This place has been featured on TV too.

Been there many times. It was featured on diners drive-ins & dives. The pastrami is LEGIT!

Another good place to go to in Eagle Rock is The Bucket. I wouldnt recommend going there at full price since its a little expensive but they have groupons and living social coupons all the time. Great place to have a big burger, beer and watch the game.

Ban Thai is cool, but I still think I prefer Best Thai Cuisine in Riverside. The best thai place I've had in the IE tho is Thai Family in Upland legit.
