Just got back from watching it.movie was better than I expected. The end go me a tad confused though.

Pretty much he prevented the explosion from happening, in the dimension that his body was being used for the source code they let him die so he would not be used for anymore jobs. His mind/memory remained in the alternate universe with the outcome that he made happen. He also texted winston in his new life about what she did in that particular dimension so that if they ever were to use his body for a sourcecode mission she would do exactly what she did before.
