I actually tried watching TLJ the other night. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy or going too hard.

Nah, this man did no justice to Finn. Gave him busy work. Complete nonsense done with Poe. Like if Finn had any chance it was that movie to be more pivotal. Should've hopped out that healing stasis like Goku out the healing chamber. Then I'm suppose to be interested with what was done with Luke? Rey and Kylo?

No bueno

I can see Styles P as a Sith Lord.

Let me rephrase that. I'd rather watch the A PLOT of TLJ. The Rey, Luke, Kylo, Snoke stuff. Mainly cuz I liked the acting and visuals.

The B-plot (everything regarding, Finn, Rose, Poe, Holdo, casino world) makes me sick to my stomach. Also the whole ****ty contrived chase sequence.

I still hate TLJ because it's badly written but TROS insults my intelligence and feels like someone forcing a pacifier into my mouth.

Surprisingly enjoyed it, to an extent...

A few random thoughts:
-Leia using up her final breath to speak to Kylo, enough to distract him and get him stabbed...lol. Maybe it was what he needed to wake up.
-Rey being wild strong...floating and levitating rocks.
-the destruction of Vader's helmet didn't phase Kylo at all, maybe showed his growth as a character no longer obsessed with being exactly like his grandfather.
-knights of Ren were trash
-saber battles were meaningless. No final bad guy fight.
-they did Kylo dirty with his swift death. No final words, nothing. Reminded me of the death of Marion Cotillard in The Dark Knight Rises.
-finn never revealed his secret.
-it never felt like anything was at stake

Good movie, but didn't leave a lasting impression.

Ben Solo a trash and unforgettable name
yeah why name him ben?

han or even anakin would have been better

why didnt they make rey a solo too? would have been better that way would have had a more true feeling of despair and connection and feeling of the outcome. we aint need no overpowering nobody.

Story would've been waaaaaaay better if Rey and Ben were siblings or half-brother and sister. A lot of Ben's insecurities and weird hangups would make more sense.

Their force bond and being force dyads would've made even more sense. Hell their incest kiss would've made sense and just been another rehash/paying homage to the OT.

Ben's name should've been Ruwee or Bail Solo

Han and Leia naming their kid "Ben" made/makes no sense.

Han knew Ben Kenobi on a very limited basis. During their initial meeting, Ben basically played Han in Mos Eisley by negotiating the deal for the flight to Alderaan down and paying very little up front (and ultimately not paying as much up front as originally promised since the speeder didn't sell for as much as they hoped).

On the Death Star, after Ben tells everyone he is going to go disable the tractor beam, Han affectionately refers to Ben as an "old fossil." Han later seems to display some skepticism as to whether old Ben was up to the task of disabling the tractor beam (saying something to the effect of "let's hope that old man took care of the tractor beam or this will be a real short trip").

In sum, Han knew Ben Kenobi for the equivalent of a few hours (i.e. original meeting in Mos Eisley, travel to Alderaan, minutes on the Death Star). Ben was talking with Luke the whole time/training Luke on the Falcon. Han is not Force-sensitive. Ben and Han simply have no connection.

Leia has never seen "Ben" Kenobi, other than a possible fleeting glimpse of him fighting Vader on the Death Star as she ran into the Falcon. Leia sent a message to "Obi-Wan" because her father (Bail Organa) either told her to or told her about Obi-Wan possibly being able to help the Rebellion. Leia didn't see Obi-Wan/Ben appear as a Force ghost at the end of ROTJ, as only Luke did (I suppose the reason why she didn't/couldn't see the force ghosts is debatable, but it's not material to this point).

After the Falcon left the Death Star, Luke was very sad that Ben had "died" (by becoming one with the Force). Leia comforts him during this time, but this has nothing to do with Ben dying... this has to do with comforting Luke, who was the one (along with Han and Chewy) who saved her.

Thus, neither Han or Leia have any meaningful connection to "Ben" Kenobi. The only person who has a meaningful connection to him is Luke.

It's implausible to think that Luke had enough "power" over Han and Leia that he could convince them to name their son Ben. Even if he did, this is also problematic, as Luke referred to "Ben" as "Obi-Wan" in ROTJ when Obi-Wan appears as a Force ghost after Yoda "died." Luke later refers to him as "Ben" during the ensuing conversation, but, at best, this shows that Luke views the names as interchangeable. There is no reason to believe that even Luke has a strong connection to the name "Ben."

To keep it real wichyall Ben's name being Ben is pretty low on the totem pole of my gripes with these sequels lol

Bruh's name could have been Bootydraws and I would have been fine with it had the movies been better.

Star Wars The Old Republic video game.
Bunch of vids on Tube that piece together all cinematic scenes. Helluva viewing experience. Dare say better than some movies. Also look into the books: Art & Making of SW Old Republic and Encyclopedia of SW Old Republic. Epic. Enjoy.

Darth Talon and Darth Maul from fan film.

I knew the first one. The second one was the one that caught my eye. Some of this fan fic stuff doesn't make sense. She'd lose her tongue by licking the saber.

I do hope they stop completely eviscerating planets though, that's enough of that. I don't know how they managed to lessen the effect of something so drastic.

Hell yeah. The idea of a ship having the power of the Death Star still trips me out. Honestly didn’t even need to know all that. The threat of the emporer should have been enough.

Watched Marriage Story last night. Adam Driver's acting was top notch. Shame the material they gave him here was unsalvageable.
