The movie started out a little slow but I absolutely loved it. Seeing it again in the morning.

I feel like people just love to nitpick at things. The original Star Wars movies really aren't good movies. A New Hope and Empire are really good but Return of The Jedi as an adult just didn't hold up for me at all.

I really don't see what to complain about but ehhhh

Feel like this shoulda gone 4 movies at this rate, or give us a 3 1/2 hour movie for IX minimum. Force awakens felt like 6.5 after this one.

Don’t even know, bruh. :smh: His mask was the best part about him and to wear it for like a minute????

Movie was cool. But nothing special.

*************Spoiler*************

Nah man it was a fake out. Thinking he's turning to the light. Then building up to taking out snoke, then establishing himself as the first in command of the first order. Feel like he's gonna go completely rogue, no allegiance to anyone next movie.

Movie was fantastic, I have no idea what some of you watched.

You guys piss and moan that TFA was a carbon copy, then piss and moan there wasn't a 98th shootout with stormtroopers. Pick a lane folks.

Leia force usage :wow:

Snoke room :wow: :wow: :wow: :pimp:

So, uhhhhhhhh.....about Kylo telling Rey her parents are nobodies....... :nerd: Anyone ever heard of misdirection? You guys really don't see a bigger setup? She's just ridiculously strong in the Force cuz junkers? Pretty damn strong connection between her and Kylo, almost like they're.......

The imagery :pimp:

I swear I expected Billy Dee at that casino.

Rian did a tremendous job and completely stands out from other films in a good way. My single biggest complaint was the base lookin like Hoth at the end. Remove that, takes away the ESB parallels.

Luke and Kylo were great, really well done.

Daisy is bae. BAE. My God what a sweetheart.

Completely LOVED the force projection by Luke. A master on a Jedi planet can learn some **** others can't, not difficult to grasp. "Learn from others failures" Hello.

One thing about Luke I don't like, EU Luke is thee GOAT. THAT Luke is who we deserve. This Luke, sad he lost a dozen Jedi, closed from the Force, that's just rewriting the prequel sensitive fellow Jedi. EU Luke would DESTROY this version, and this version was still badass. Think about that.

Driver was tremendous.

Will see again tomorrow or Saturday, can't wait. And 9 is going to be very interesting how they close everything out.

Well, I enjoyed it.

The throne room? Wow.

The white/red planet, cool visuals.

Hellooooo Daisy.

The best opening sequence of the entire SW galaxy? They actually showed Poe being Poe.

Was damn near speechless. Rian delivered, flat out. The story was intriguing, unpredictable, if only slightly slow paced in the beginning. The main actors, all of them, showed up. Some parts had me on the edge of my seat, the imagery was unbelievable and the score drove the emotion perfectly.

I don't think I've seen a better SW fight scene than the Supreme Leaders chambers. My GAWD that was perfect.

Can't wait for Episode IX. Can't wait to see Episode VIII again.

Immediate reaction score 7.75/8.

I honestly thought Rey was going to be revealed a clone after her vision in the cave when her face appears after she asks to see her parents but when they ended the movie on the little stable boy using the force I think she really is just a nobody and they're just going with anyone can be a Jedi angle which was the vibe the original trilogy gave before the whole medichlorian ****

After my second viewing I hate the film more than ever now that all the shock factor settles in. Rian literally had “twists” for the sake of that did NOTHING to raise the stakes of the movie. TFA ends with Kylo trying to get Rey to join him and Rey rejecting. TLJ ends with Kylo trying to get Rey to join him and she rejects as well. Like honestly?

Kylo thinks about shooting the ship that Leia is on, but last second doesn’t....but the ship still got shot....but then Leia still lives

Nothing in this film has consistency. Leia with no training can survive and fly in the vacuum of space. Jedi Master Luke projects his image on another planet and dies?? The movie is just a “plot” to tear down the characters of Luke Skywalker and get him out the picture so that future Star Wars films don’t have to be tied down to his legacy. Garbage.

The cave scene...pointless. The movie is going toward that angle that anyone can be force sensitive but we won’t get an explanation as to why Rey knows how to use a lightsaber so well smh. Rian Johnson is a great cinematography but a HORRIBLE writer

Yeah I didn' get what they did with luke either my 9 year old was almost crying cuz lukes his favorite character but I'm pretty sure he'll have a big role in 9 now that they have established with yoda that ghosts can do more than just talk to you

 Yeah there's definitely some holes that need to be filled, I thought it was good not great definitely didn' hate it but I'm still an ot guy all the way and I can' help but wonder what this trilogy would've been if they took George's story and combine it with a great writer directed by Rian
