STAY/GET BACK IN SHAPE VOL 3.0 -- A New Niketalk = A New Thread

Fax. I was at a point where I kept getting discomfort in my hip flexors every time I would squat. Finally started stretching and I've never had that problem since. My lower back is also nowhere near as tight as it was prior to me making stretching a daily habit
Most Def! I have to take 10 mins or more everyday. The last time i seriously stretched before this point was like 10 plus years ago(& it was poor stretching at best), and I've stayed active my whole life.

Yoga is tough because of the core body strength you have to utilize, but also if you're not flexible it just makes the session that much more challenging. Now that I stretch frequently, being calm and focused while I do yoga is so much easier.

Huh? Ego lifting been around long before tiktok and IG

Made it worse sure, but that behavior been around
Yeah my point was tik tok and IG made it much worse. Because now it’s not just for those in the gym these people are trynna ego lift for.. it’s their social media followers.

I seen a group of dudes maybe 18-20 year olds all fail a PR 2-3 times recording each time.. one of them failed and his “spotters” didn’t even know how to spot so he almost fell had it not been for the safety bar.

getting old is annoying as hell. damn so prone to hyper-extension. can't reach object that you could easily stretch out without issues. felt like your joints are popping out and hurts like damn.

Hyper extension of what exactly??

the thing is, for example if I rotated my shoulder the way I was doing it since forever, then suddenly one day you just felt some painful tension on those muscles and got you wondering what the hell just happened.

of course, stuff happens…my point was if you are constantly fasting &/or crashing your calories, with injuries, while simultaneously trying to get back into physical activity, it can’t be too surprising that your recovery is slow & injuries happen

if you can squat that much and still don’t know to set the j hooks below your shoulders…

every once in awhile, i make this mistake but don’t notice until the weight on the bar gets to the point where it becomes clear racking would actually be much easier if the hooks were lower 😂

Anybody tried this protein before? Gonna be mixing it with water mostly so I wonder how it’d be
I’m looking for something other than the regular chocolate/vanilla/strawberry
Something fruit flavored

i personally havent but that flavor specifically has been a trend on tiktok so im assuming its gotta be good.

BPN also has a fruity cereal flavor. you can use code "Russwole" for a small discount

Yup, I liked that flavor (and the cocoa pebbles one). It’s pretty close to the taste of the milk from a bowl of fruity pebbles. Kinda lemony.

Stay away from the Birthday cake pebbles though, the aftertaste is medicinal.

What headphones everybody rocking with for lifting/cardio? Might scoop some Beats fit pros since they are $160 right now.

I use any cheap headphones/earphones. I don't want to damage my better end expensive headphones/earphones.

Y’all got me second guessing the Beats Fit Pros, but they already delivered.

Sound is pretty good, I’ll have to see how they hold up and stay in place cause I sweat like mofo.

Actors can spend all day training and getting the best meals & supplements.

some definitely can, but most don’t…and of the ones that do, most definitely aren’t looking as saucy as hemsworth, so actor or not, you gotta give that man his propers for achieving that physique

Also keep in mind that he's not looking like that the entire time they are shooting the movie. He might get his body fat percentage down to a lower level for a week so he looks extra shredded for certain scenes. Then he'll go back to a "normal" level. Either way, it's pretty impressive.

But when you are in a movie with a budget of $250 million you pretty much get the best trainers, nutritionists and chefs in the world at your service to help you look like that.

yeah. I remember Henry Cavill before, during and after he made MOS. man the guy looked perfection on MOS. right now he is just doing maintenance for The Witcher. but I have to agree, it takes will power, dedication and motivation to be in that state.
