std testing question?

I know for women, my dr automatically tests for 2 of them. It might only be up until a certain age though, not 100% clear on that. You can just ask for the full test when you go in for your annual. You don't need to go to a special clinic or anything

Even if they were to test your blood for some STDs, they'd probably only be doing the most rampant ones.

You have to go to a clinic and feel that swab, bruh.

And that swab ain't no joke.

I got tested a couple months ago at my school clinic. All I had to do was a piss test and blood test. It tested for HIV/Aids, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. All negative and no cotton swab

The spot around here is no cotton swab. Its just piss n blood. I might have to run through for the yearly make sure everything good to go. If I had to do the swab I dont think Id ever go.

They DO NOT run an STD panel when u go for a physical. If you want an STD panel done you must ask your doctor before having blood drawn.
As others have said many STD don't show symptoms till later stages. Even though you feel fine it never hurts to get tested, with the medication available today you can live a regular life with HIV.
Having an STD is no longer a death sentence just as long as it is detected early

You have to get specific tests for Syphillis, HIV, and herpes

Most ERs and family docs can screen for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia ....

And as stated earlier, HIV has a delayed onset so if you went raw right now, it might not present till 6 months down the road in a test....even later with symptoms if you dont get checked.

Better safe than sorry bro.

That is 100% FALSE! When you get a STD test, you piss in a cup. Tests are ran on your urine. Should something show up THEN
you will get swabbed to determine which STD you may have. Also, when you get an HIV test it can be done two ways, they can
draw blood (they prick your finger) or they swab the inside of your mouth with a q-tip.

NO I don't have/have ever had an STD or HIV, but I had the test. I was fearful of the cotton swab so I asked all of my questions before
I took the test. Now with that said, everyone should get tested at least once a year. It takes no more than 20 minutes.
