Agreed. Cus Jay tried to attack a few people on Takeover but Nas was able to focus on jay and go directly at him with Ether. IMO thats the only reason why itwas more effective.

I was bumping music in my homeboys crib and ether came on as we was burning sum purple and I heard ether 1million times b4 that but this time it felt sooooo raw.... Beat flow disrespect.... And made jay put out superugly the next day.... Which was funny but ehhh atthe same time.... Ether > takeover .... Speaking longevity.... Takeover still a top 5 diss record tho

Again, ether wasnt what did the Camel in. It was the masked shots on takeover and the lunchroom corniness of ether that seemed more like Nas was clowningdude which got people behind Gnoz.
