i'm a 24 yr old male 5'9 175 - ive become really tired/fatigued over the past couple of weeks and i want to start taking some vitamins to help a lil since my diet isnt always the best

1) what are the best brands
2) What kind of a dosage should i take

I'm not trying to be extreme i just know my diet doesnt persist of enough essential vitamins so i want to incorporate them somehow

I just take a Men's One-a-Day Vitamin. You can also take vitamin D as that may be low. I went last year and my Vitamin D levels were down and they got me taking some of that daily and it helped.

If it gets worse, I would go to my doctor and maybe get him to have some blood work done just to make sure everything is fine.

Also maybe try to exercise and get some more sleep or something as well could help. They say a lot of it has to do with in the winter time we are not outdoors getting sunlight and natural vitamin D that we would as in the summertime.

Good luck and hope you feel better man.

i dont even know if the vitimans work, but i take em anyways..

get in the gym for 45 minutes 4-5 days a week...that will give you some energy..

Orange Triad is top notch! has everything you need, look it up and thank me later.

any more suggestions? its nothing extremely wrong like excessive tiredness but a lil kicker wouldnt hurt

Imo three things everyone should be taking regardless of level of activity or what their lifestyle is like:

1. FIsh oil (EPA and DHA Omega 3's are key - at least 1000 mg per day. I take around 3500-4000 daily.)
2. Probiotics (Acidophilus)
3. Vitamin D

I have been since I became a vegetarian ~two months ago.

Quite frankly, I don't really notice a difference in my energy level, etc. when I forget to take one. But I keep doing it since I'm not always getting certain nutrients.

Can't hurt, I guess.

I take multivitamin, fish oil, and an antioxidant daily, love the energy I get from it (plus all the other benefits of course). Feel like everybody needs to take these three at minimum.

NOW FOODS - Magnessium & B12

Take 1 tab of each in the morning & 1 of each mid day. Lunch time would be good. It'l' give you a nice clean boost with no crash whatsoever.

Eat 2 pieces of fruit a day. (Apples, oranges, bananas are good).

Your body will thank you.
