Tampa / Orlando Florida sneaker heads??

Appreciate it.
Are there any sneaker shows/events that happen in the Tampa/Orlando Area?

From my recollection, Sneakercon has visited Tampa and Orlando. If you follow the numerous Facebook groups in the area, maybe they will have information. Unlaced app is okay for sneaker convention info.

Maybe someone else can chime in with more info.

We had a SoleFest last month at UCF. There's one next month in Naples.

wuddup NT!

I'm visiting Orlando next week, coming from Toronto. I'm escaping the cold bros.

Just want some tips on where to go for shopping, eats and maybe even nightlife around Orlando.

I see that there's a Nike Clearance store. Any updates/reviews on that?

We were going to hit up a couple of outlets for sure.

Any tips/help is appreciated.

Thanks NT

Whats up Tampa,

Im just moving here from the Chicago area but was born and raised in Virginia. I see that it may be tough getting major releases around here. Is there a good place to get info on shoe events? Anybody know the Facebook groups names for the Tampa sneaker pages. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

This thread has been very informative so far since ive been so let's keep it going.

One more question. If you had to say which HOH got the most releases which would it be; international, University, or roughly the same?

University sometimes gets more "exclusives" than international. But usually get the same. Again, unless it's a hyped shoe, and than university gets it

I'd say University is the place to go, especially since there is a FNL, JJ, FTA and Champs.

If you're trying to scoop retros, I'd post there. As far as limited releases go, University is probably a tier 2.5 HoH. So they get a majority of QS, etc. They're just kind of grimey about it sometimes.

International is hit or miss. And as far as shoes, University gets more quantity.

Florida Mall and Pembroke are tier 2 HOH. Dadeland is tier 1 maybeish (meaning they get almost all the QS like Lebron Champ Packs, Lebron X MVP, Jordan's, etc).

There is sneakergames coming to olrando this weekend. Other shows to look out for are Bay Area Soleciety, Sole Fest, Luv My Kicks, and a few others. Bay Area is the best one by far in the area. Next one is in June at USF.

University hands down.  Quantity is 3x or more than what Int'l gets.  Inbox me man, always looking to link up with local NT fam.

Nike Outlets in Florida are bad

Outlets are being built in Wesley Chapel off of 54 in Tampa just as a heads up if haven't been posted. I anticipate this to be a remarkable success for this area and will rival the Nike outlets in Ellenton and Orlando.

I don't really shop at Orlando but Ellenton has been wack every time I've gone.

I like Saw Grass more. But with the way things are with the resellers and their scores of children buyers, it'll probably be a wrap on high value items.

QFT .. That's exactly what I anticipate to happen at these outlets being built here.

Anyone at Citrus Park FNL enter the raffle for the Bred XI Lows? Did y'all receive a call yet?

Anybody in Orlando interested in grabbing me something at the Clearance Store and shipping it to me? I'll pay you for your time and effort of course.

Clearance Stores won't do phone orders, and I don't have any friends or family in Orlando, so that's why I'm asking.

Thanks!

thats one i have and i have sold on there but not too much on the buying, eveyr FB group has its issues though so just beware and be safe always and University is shady for QS releases but International is notorious for backdooring mad products and yes all of our local (ellenton and Orlando) outlets suck and pretty much get picked through before good product hits the shelf

^^^I'm a member of that group as well as Tampa Sole Society. I figured there was a group with some heat for decent prices.

And I'm familiar with University. Camped out early and been there on dreaded AJ 11 ticket days lol. Hilarity always ensues. I've never had to pop the trunk. And I won a raffle for the SBBs at International so it's not completely shady. Same with University (but I rarely win Raffles there). Ellenton is the most putrid Outlet I've been to. At least Orlando gets N7.

@Super T1ght  I'm looking to get a shoe called Nike Hyperfeel Run. Actually 2 pairs. They have it there but they don't do phone orders.

Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't getting notifications for some reason.

If you can help me, please let me know.

Thanks!

Coming to Orlando on a vacation.... Can somebody give me a rundown of all the sneaker spots. From retail to mom n pop to consignment
