Team Metal Heads thread : Keep metal alive join the team!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for Anthrax, Persistence of Time is an awesome album too, imo. And yes, SOD is awesome, although after listening to them for awhile, the lyrics somewhatstart to wear on you, just start to come off as a little childish. Well to me anyway. And I'm glad to have found one LONE metal thread in this forum ofnothing but rap

I like anthrax but not much of a big fan of them I've probably only listened to Fistful of Metal, Among the Living, and Spreading the Disease but I had never heard of S.O.D I just finished hearing Speak English or Die and it just blew me away. I'm downloading it as i type.
Fist full of metal is probably one of my all time favorite albums ive been listening to it non stop in the past weeks.

My favorite anthrax song ever and It doesn't even have vocals lol.
Neil Turbin>>>Joey Belladonna any day!!!
Id like to really thank BCF for all the help he's put into this thread bumping it practically every week. Id like to make you co leader of the team ifyou'd like. You can put it up over your sig if you want.

I appreciate that Johnstaysfresh. I'm cool with how it is right now. There are times when I'm like you and Rust and I don't have time to postanything but I will always try to contribute and make time to post. Anyway I totaly agree with you and Neil Turbin > Joey Belladona. Me and my unclealways had the discussion on who was better he alway chose Belladona. I can admit Belladona was good but to me his vocals weren't that great. Neil Turbinis such an underated vocalist. He is great. If you listen to Metal Thrashing Mad he goes all out and the guitaring was beautiful in Fist Full of Metal. Ithink they had Iron Maiden like potential with Turbin as lead singer. Not necessarily success but musicly. Good choice on that Across the River song. I loveit I just wish it wasn't so short. Good choice on that EVILDEAD J1GOKU It's been a while since I've jammed out to them thanks for mentioning them.

^^Yea abigail williams was cool sounding to me at first but the more I listened to them the more they sounded mediocre.

Anyways, really happy to see new guys posting up in here!

Today:
Black Sabbath
SOD
WhiteChapel

I see San Antonio Tx on there. I might check it out. That White Rabbit gets crazy in their. I've had friends see King Diamond there and it gets hot, sweaty and crazy. They said 6 dudes got carried out before the show even started.

^^Yeah in SD the venue called SOMA always had people passing out for dehydration during shows. Especially during the headliners and stuff.

^ Soma and their dickhead security blow, i hate that venue. and the crowd that place attracts
smh.gif
best venue in SD hands down is the Che Cafe.

today

I never had a problem with their security but the people that frequent that venue are pretty lame. Ive never been to che cafe. Who did you see at Soma?

^
ive seen a few bands in the last couple years, Converge, Hatebreed, Napalm Death, Slayer, Terror.... but yeah i got no love for Soma. i hardly head down to SDfor shows anymore i usually only go down for Slayer since most the time they play in LA its at the Universal Amphitheatre(pretty much a seated venue) andSlayer live and seats do not go together. but those Have Heart/Shook Ones and 108/Pulling Teeth shows @ Che Cafe in April are tempting.

i cant speak on Lazarus since im not familiar with them, but personally i like Unearth, i guess if you like metalcore bands like KillswitchEngage, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, Lamb of God, etc... you'd probably dig em. and they always put on a good show.
