Texting + driving = crash...

Man yall (as in everybody but me) just can't drive though. I'll take myself knee driving while making a sandwich, changing the song on my system, and digging through the console looking for my ID card over most people driving "full attentive" every day of the week.
The Army, or at least Fort Sill, it's not only illegal to be on the phone (without use of some type of handsfree device) while driving, it's also illegal to be on the phone/text and walk.
As for a not so funny story, a basketbal player female who I believe was named Amber, was on her way to her boyfriend's house and he texted her and she was replying back to him to say she was on her way, right around the corner, and she began to pass the turn to his house, snatched the steering wheel and overcorrected, end up getting ejected out the passenger side window and the car rolled over on her. True story. I guess that speaks to the importance of seatbelts as well, although occasionally you hear a wreck story where someone was saved by not having one on.

Not that I support texting and driving, but there's NO way the driver in the video was texting. His reaction time to him swerving in the next lane would have been faster, the driver had to have been drunk.

I text and drive all the time but I have an old school phone flip phone(not touch screen), and I don't even have to look at my phone text, I T9 while watching the road. T9 FTW.

Before I got my thunderbolt, I would tell people to text me when they would call me while driving. I felt texting was safer as it didn't put something next to my face, blocking my hearing and sight. But I could text without looking, but not with this touchscreen..
