Actually the 2016 Warriors are more in a similar Situation like the 92 Bulls.
Why?
Because :
1. They are going for back-to-back
2. Several players improved compared to the previous season
3. They are both offensively strong teams
4. Most star players are still in their 20's
The 1996 Bulls were:
1. A team with MJ getting back to basketball shape after bitter defeat against Orlando in 1995
2. Bulls were far away from no.1 in their conference
3. Most star players were over 30 years old
4. Bringing in Rodman and have Armstrong leaving was a big change in the roster
5. Their biggest advantage was their excellent team defense
