Hey man that's what I think. I've never been that impressed by Love since his LA days. They do the same thing on the court. Jump shooting big man, Love rebounds at a higher rate and is more experienced but beside that and the outlet passing that's what I think. I mean it's a drop off from Love to Bennett but it's not by a lot.

Anthony Bennett thinks he's a superstar and will jack from anywhere on the court. He turned himself into a dark skinned chubbier version of Derrick Williams once he got to the league. If his three point shot isn't falling he contributes next to nothing on the basketball court right now at this point in his career.

Like, what is a reasonable explanation for this being done in private?

In case something goes wrong. They want everything to be in place when they do the unveiling. Also, the process in which they do the actual drawing is kind of complicated and wouldn't make for good TV. More fun to just reveal it.
