I'm sorry I disagree and I listened to that song this morning. Yeah I know surprise surprise Antidope sides with JAY-Z and all that, but it seriously wasnt better. Hovs verse was better while being substantially shorter.I thought about this, and came to the conclusion that Beans verse is better. Jay had some cool little lines, but Beans is spitting something much deeper. No Jay on "What We Do"?
Which is probably why he bats cleanup on it.

Really? This is what we're doing now? No one has to 100% relate to something to be able to understand it, if that was the cause how many of us could relate to most rap? 1% at best? Come on now... I mean I could easily say "Well can you?" but what is the point in that. The verse isnt hard to break down, and being able to relate to it or not, doesnt change the fact that I understood it. I will say that if you can 100% relate to a verse then that can make it better, word to Song Cry, but put it this way: I cant relate to either verses, so my stance on them would be without bias now wouldnt it. Beans verse was raw, no question about it, I just think Hovs was better.Wait, you said "seriously" it wasn't better. Like....."seriously". Well then you must be right.I'm sorry I disagree and I listened to that song this morning. Yeah I know surprise surprise Antidope sides with JAY-Z and all that, but it seriously wasnt better.
You act like anyone is going to take your opinion on anything regarding Jay Z seriously.
Again, there is probably a reason why Beans verse is last. And he kills it.
Jay'z verse is mad short. A few cool lines. But read what I just laid out. Beans verse, the honesty, sincerity, the subject matter is what makes it great.
If you can't relate, then you can't relate. Wouldn't surprise me.

Was just about to say thisBeans outshined Jay a lot when they collaborated

And you followed up that with "It wouldnt surprise me". Lets not kid around, we all know what you were implying. No feelings were caught, it was just a moot point.Really? I said "IF you can't relate". And you caught feelings.
Adorable.
Again, you have lost all credibility when discussing Jay so many times, that you thinking "Hovs is better" is no surprise. In fact, you went out of your way to reply to me when I had the AUDACITY to suggest that Beans verse was better. Searching for videos that proved absolutely nothing.
As a person who is a Jay fan, but not a groupie, and a Beans fan, Beans verse is better. It's all opinions son.
But it's a Freeway song, with Jay Z on it, and Beans closes the show. That should tell you something.
We've had this conversation before I believe.Beans outshined Jay a lot when they collaborated

No one is offended man, I'm just trying to address everything you said. If I avoided it, you or anyone else could have easily said "Why are you dodging X and Y?" Just trying to carry on the conversation as best I can no ones taking anything personally. You guys got it though, not gonna sit here and totally derail what is a very good thread. It was a "moot point" that you're still dwelling on. OK.
Incredible how much of this you're taking to heart. It wouldn't surprise ME. My opinion. Right. We all know what I was implying. And?
I said that I wasn't a groupie. Did you take that personally too?
If I were suggesting that you were, it wouldn't be "all of a sudden". There is a large sample size for this.
French may not have had the best verse but he's the one who made the song. Interpret as you will.
Beans bats cleanup on that record for a reason.
Ya'll dudes realize radios were cutting his verse. Roscoe let a good one goGood call. This verse may have saved his career.Wale on No Hands
Dude was about to be washed up on Interscope.
Killed this verse. Record was a beast and down the line signed to MMG.
"
J Cole on Beautiful Bliss has gotta be top 15 of all time. Cole murked Wale, that beat, and the entirety of the DMV in just over a minute. And then had the audacity to end with "Aye Wale...good lookin"
:x
And I ain't een mad![]()
