i think the reason corporate bae & blue collar guy don’t link is because they’re not usually in the same circles; in the instances they ever do meet (providing the attraction lines up) the status thing often isn’t why it doesn’t work it’s usually lifestyle that doesn’t align
For the record corporate bae was sarcasm. It's like when chicks call themselves teachers but they work at a daycare. Or the scrub wearers men and women who actually clean but let people think they do something else.
Status/life style is a cop since the a lot of them want the similar lifestyles and think they deserve the guy above them regardless of education/income.
If you pose the hypothetical to certain woman she's gonna say no. On dating apps (where most couples meet) some put references to white collar in their profile. Man in finance trend popped off for a reason.
It's the same reason they pull the does he own the bus company line. They'll consider it hypothetically only if he owns a plumbing company. Not wanting him if he's doing the plumbing is silent. While also parroting men used to go to war and build houses.
I just thought about no one mentioned height during the whole convo. That gets most guys excluded at the moment of conception
