Every one of their albums has a theme and I think this one has a sort of somber feeling to it which grabs my attention for some reason. Many believe it has a lot to do with the communication issues Waters and Gilmour had which lead to their damaged relationship. Nonetheless, I think this is some of Gilmour's most feeling-filled guitar playing and it's an overall well written album both musically and lyrically. I enjoy it from front to back even though Waters had absolutely nothing to do with it (and I'm a bass player). "Coming Back To Life" has to be one of my top 10 songs ever based on the fact that it gives me chills and affects my mood directly every time I hear it. Any thoughts?
