****The Everything LaVar Ball Thread****

Yeah I just looked at the highlights, Ingram improved a lot during last season really want to see what he does this year. Lonzo had a bad game but it's summer league I'm not taking nothing from that.
Ingram had a strong game but also remember who he is playing against. He showed flashes of these same skills at points Last year, we just need to see it consistently vs. Actual nba talent.

So the jury is still out on dude

I'm still waiting to see a good game by lonzo. (I didn't catch many UCLA games). Looks like dloading wanted to see dude that took his spot [emoji]128064[/emoji]

Lack of footspeed is what's going to kill Lonzo. Probably the difference between being the PG that the Lakers envisioned or a version of Vasquez/R. Gaines/E. Turner

He has folks interested.

Not sure if that constitutes as changing the culture honestly
it does tho...as far as I understand it, Lonzo's ceiling is something like perennial All-Star...not  necessarily an undeniably dominating generational talent like--ah hell, you know who I'm going to name.

how this alters things is that now the next genetic freak who comes down the pipeline knows that there's another way.

in a post-Decision, post-BBB world...just how much attention and influence can a major athletic talent garner with the right promotion?

LeBron is effectively a league executive, which shows the level of power a single player can achieve based on their skills and marketability.

I guarantee if he decided he had beef, they would fire the commissioner--out of a cannon--before they allowed him to take his talents anywhere else but the NBA.

what happens when a can't-miss superstar adopts a can't-lose negotiating position from sophomore year?

will the day ever come when an active player has ownership stock in his team?

we might never even ponder the question if not for this.

Triple double :hat

He messed around and got one

I can understand why magic traded dloading tho I wish it wasn't as part of a salary dump.
The lakers have a lot of good, young players and needed someone that was pass first not score first like Russell is.
Ball can shoot 38% from the floor and still help get more wins if he's here with the assist game.
Everyone's numbers will improve :hat

Nah man, I was simply talking about Lonzo changing the LAKERS culture already.

I agree with everything else you said though

I'm actually glad Russell is gone. They need more scoring though. Lonzo will definitely facilitate.

The boy can pass, can't take that away from him. Makes me anxious to see Simmons out there now.

Screw Simmons
U lucky Simmons pops not vocal and dancing all in the videos or else u would be attacked for saying that.

This is a pretty good rookie class tho, all these dude's looking good so far.

Supposedly Ball's triple double is the first Triple Double in summer league history

Confirmed first in the last seven years.

Yes I know, it's only summer league, still cool tho

Lakers vs Celtics summer league game was the first ever sold out vegas summer league game in advance
