The Flash (CW Series) thread, season 9

im mad that it took him 6 episodes to realize that hes the fastest person in the world and can just dodge every punch thrown at him

dude was out running bullets but losing to punches

is there really a dc villain that is literally the exact same thing as colossus?

"he's a man of steel"

I don't think he is Colossus-esque in the comics, I believe he is just full metal and doesn't really transforms.

Plus he wasn't really getting hit with punches all the time, he only got pawned against the guy that duplicates himself and that was his second night out as the Flash and dude was multiplying all around him?

What was dumb was holding on the the pole as Girder pretty much swings it around and slam him to the walls, it's like, let the damn pole go. :lol Also stupid to reveal himself as Barry, I get the point he is trying make being bullied and all but you wear a damn mask and change your voice for a damn reason.

This.

He finally got the upper hand on his longtime bully and couldn't help himself.

Probably come back to bite him in the *** later this season.

Didn't care for this ep either. Character induced stupidity dealing with this metal man :{

After Barry did that super punch that's what I was expecting him to do to the bully and just punch a hole in him :lol but I know he aint gonna kill.

Iris is getting annoying. Still fine but annoying. Either cuz I seen this storyline already on Smallville with Chloe or cuz she's just being annoying.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Flash is one of the few super heroes whose identities is publicly known in his comic. I'm expecting eventually they will follow that angle on the show.

^I wouldn't know Rav; outside of Batman and to a lesser extent Superman I really not up on DC Comics superhero's history like that.

Sooooooo the episode description for the mid season finale just came out. And it tells us who's NOT the reverse flash.

BARRY COMES FACE-TO-FACE WITH THE MAN IN THE YELLOW SUIT/AMANDA PAYS RETURNS TO THE FLASH — Barry (Grant Gustin) finds himself face-to-face with his nemesis, the man in the yellow suit, a.k.a. Reverse Flash, who killed his mother. Barry is frustrated when the Reverse Flash escapes, but Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) come up with a plan to trap him.[/SIZE=5] All they need is bait, so they turn to Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) from Mercury Labs to help

Who the heck is this dude :lol

Interesting.

Could be a bait and switch, but we'll see.

Finally watched the episode with Felicity and captain cold. The way he fought that villain seemed kinda stupid. Just sneak up behind that fool and take away his gun. Barry kept wanting to fight him face to face and kept getting blasted.

And damn Iris is looking so fine up there. If Barry was smart he'd reveal he was Flash and finally get in her sugar walls.

Ok, I'm really not seeing how the Doc isn't the Reverse Flash, especially after that last scene. But then again it's almost too obvious that it could be him.. Makes for a good okie doke.

Fun easter egg, when Wells was naming people that were killed because of him, he was naming various Justice Leaguers

It's safe to say he is ...but now you have to ask yourself which cannon? I'm glad they didn't cheese the Cosmic Treadmill tonight, I so thought they were, I was wrong.

This was a real good ep. Wish more were like it. Managed to tie-in past villains while introducing new ones. Knepper was really good here.

In the end Iw as almost expecting Blackout to come back to life when the doc opened his bag back up.

West still shook off the way Revers Flash threatened him.

Not really hyped for this 2 part event thing with Arrow. I still think he and the show is lame. Feel like I'm only gonna watch the Flash ep.

Good catch :lol I knew recognized a few names.

I liked the one in the beginning where he was looking at future newspapers and there was that one article piece in the corner about Wayne Enterprises.

Loved tonight's episode and all the Easter eggs.

It's also great that they are slowly introducing the Speed Force.

It kind of makes sense but it also kind of doesn't. He can clearly go back in time and it makes sense that Wells felt that Barry had to be separated from his loved ones to focus his power hence killing his mom and framing his dad but again going back to him being able to go back in time, wouldn't he just stop himself from killing Barrys mom anyways if he now feels it is his closeness to people that makes him stronger?

The mid-season finale is suppose to be Wells helping to catch reverse Flash so we will see how he interacts or if they share a screen time together, that should give us more hints whether it truly is him or not.

Supergirl Could Possibly Exist In The Same World As Arrow & Flash

The December 5, 2014 issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine - now hitting newsstands - features a profile on Greg Berlanti, the executive producer of many current hit shows including Arrow, Flash, and The Mysteries of Laura. It's a fascinating article about his approach to the different series, talking about his origins in the business with shows like Dawson's Creek and his one comic-based project that wasn't so much of a hit, the Green Lantern movie.

As has been mentioned before, one of Berlanti's new projects is a Supergirl TV project for CBS, which he is developing with Ali Adler and Sarah Schechter. There's a section talking about what's currently going on in production, and there's a very interesting nugget within:

Later in the afternoon at his other office on the Warner Bros. lot, Berlanti meets with fellow producer Ali Adler and Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood to go over looks for their upcoming revamp of Supergirl. The show will follow 24-year-old Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and with a twist that that could melt fanboy brains, Berlanti says it's possible this Supergirl could enter the worlds of Arrow and The Flash.

Haven't seen any of the new shows Arrow, Flash, or Gotham.  Which of the three would you recommended?  Or rank 'em for me please.
