The Glove Thread / Zoom Flight 98

Alright alright don't slam me...but how's the length on these? True? My foot is pretty narrow/average so I'm not worried about width.

Copped a 14 online and didn't want to double with a 15, so unless these are short I should be good.
 
I can't remember the last time I got to try on a shoe before I bought it

Same thing happened to me when I picked up my pair, but I wasn't in uniform. I was wearing my Navy hoody and asked for the discount with my CAC card ready for proof, but they hit me with that two weeks nonsense. Still copped though.

No stores ever get anything above a 12 or 13 around here. They don't even get fresh releases for that matter. And since there's no such thing as a 14.5 (maybe TB colors), I've gotta study up on sizing or be ready to buy a 14 and 15.

The checkered carbon fiber plate on the bottom of the shoes is there just like the og but it is just covered with the black clear plastic, i wasn't going to buy it because i thought it was only the black plastic that was there with no carbon fiber, but when i saw it is there i bought it. Actually feels more comfy than the og. Also these over any air jordans/nike shoes any day for me, makes me feel like 97/98 all over again.

I always use mines on releae day.. jordans, nike retros, etc..

Guess it's just the store and manager I guess.

I do believe it is at the manager's discretion.

I remember years ago a military person told a story how he was unable to use his discount at a local FTL. He then went to a FTL a town over and asked the same thing and was granted it.

Manager asked why he didn't cop from his local store and told him to come to his store from now on and he would give him the discount on all and any products even on release date, no questions asked in respect for the military service he provided.
 
Wore plain black shoes to a friend's son's bday party so had to switch to go to the casino. Lost some money so the bday coupon savings was negated. All good, seeing these on feet walking out made me forget about that haha.

Just had a quick question about this release on NDC, are they releasing next week or are they pulling it all together? Spoke to a rep. yesterday and said it is coming out on the 12th. But spoke to another rep. today and said they don't see anything of it and linked me to the release calendar where I don't see any signs of it. Any help would be appreciated. Been trying to stay off getting them in store to use my NDC coupon but if they're not releasing on there, then I should get to looking for it asap.

Everything could have been avoided if you were to make a simple phone call first and ask about the policy prior to driving to the store.

Also NIketown products( if unworn, has receipt and within return period) could be return to any Nike retail store. It doesn't have to be a Niketown.

Obviously reading comprehension isn't your strong point. Less Kobe idolizng and more reading would do you some good.

You know when you buy an item there's this thing the employee gives you which is called a receipt. I'm sure you've gotten them before. On the receipt it happens to have this thing called the stores return/exchange policy. On that it said unworn items could be returned for all full refund.

Seeing that this was written and documented why would I need to call the store for. How was I bad customer in this situation? Me expecting them to follow company policy is unreasonable? If anything that could've all been avoided if the employee followed his stores company policy rather then try and go against the grain and make up some rule for no reason. Last thing I want to do is get into an argument with someone over something petty like that but at the same time I'm not going to be a pushover and let them lie to my face because they refuse to honor a company policy.

Ill admit I was OD on the birthday coupon and if someone were to take exception to my view on that I can understand that. The Niketown situation no matter how you cut it the employee was wrong.

Corporate took my side and made things right in the form of a gift card when I mentioned the inconvience and gas money wasted on going up there.

There's a reason why I prefer to cop from a place like Niketown or footlocker. They have customer friendly policies as opposed to a mom and pop hood spot where I might spend a little bit less money but in the even I might need a refund I'm out of luck because their policies are more strict.

Just stick to your delusional annoying posts in the lakers thread where most people can't stand you and lets keep this thread on topic. Everyone else has been able to do so. You should to champ

Cedric Ceballos kudos to you bro for putting that employee in his place. Always enjoyed reading your posts. I work retail also in sneakers part in addition to my main job, and I see treatment of our paying customers like how they did you all the time and 9/10 times and it annoys how these power hungry managers manipulate the rules on the fly. Then again, you have to keep in Mind that retail is their lives and they have no bigger ceiling than that.
