This. and if buzz is a factor 50 had a tremendous buzz no doubt, but Hov had the world on they knees begging son to stay when he started that last album talk.
plus those last couple of lines on what more can i say felt more powerful to me than anything 50 said on GRODT.
 
I know everybody loves GRODT but IMO all it is, is average lyrics over Superb beats...............TBA had everything and is a classic

Stillmatic over the Blueprint ? Nah

People that arent Nas fans probly couldnt name 3 or 4 songs off that album, while the Blueprint is considered a classic by just about everybody.
This isnt a knock on that album cuz i know how serious that nas & jay %#@ can get on here. But odds are youre a diehard Nas fan if thats your pick for AOTY.

People that arent Nas fans probly couldnt name 3 or 4 songs off that album, while the Blueprint is considered a classic by just about everybody.

The ratings I used for the Blueprint and Stillmatic are as follows

Stillmatic:
1. Intro-On of the greatest intros ever. I can honestly hear them playing this when Jesus Come Back 5/5
2. Ether-Nothing to explain 5/5
3. Got Ur Self.....Best song on the album IMO 5/5
4. Smoking-A fall off from the first 3 tracks but solid overall 4/5
5.You Da Man-Ether w/o the energy 3.5/5
6. Rewind-Excellent concept but avg beat 4/5
7. One Mic-Nothing can be said that you haven't already heard 5/5
8. 2nd Childhood-Excellent concept and nice beat 5/5
9.Destroy and Rebuild-Why is Nas dissing someone beneath him(Mega) and a man whose manhood was taken by Jigga(Prodigy) but still pretty nice 4/5
10. The Flyest-Coulda been better but str8 4/5
11.Rule-The actual true first single and a underrated gem 5/5
12. My Country-Never cared for the song but I understand why everyone likes it 4.5/5
13. What goes around-Underrated and forgotten 4.5/5
14.Every Ghetto-Nice track but a weak ending to a classic 3.5/5

1. The Rulers Back-Jigga at what he does best....boasting. Nice song and a awesome opener 5/5
2. Takeover-Destroys Prodigy and Wakes up The Hulk(Nasty Nas) 5/5
3. Izzo(HOVA)- Honestly who didnt bump this summer 01 5/5
4. Girls, Girls, Girls-Pimps Anthem 5/5
5. Jigga That N****-1 of 2 weak tracks(compared to the rest) but pretty enjoyable 4/5
6. U DOnt Know-Noice battle rap just a notch under Takeover 4.5/5
7. Hola Vito- Nice Timbo beat and who doesnt like arrogant Jigga rhymes 4/5
8. Heart of the City-Classic track hands down 5/5
9. Never CHange-Dope song and good message 5/5
10 SOng Cry- Nice to hear a realistic love song that doesnt end the hollywood way 5/5
11. All I need- 2nd throwaway track but ok 3.5/5
12 Renegade-Em did not kill Jay just had a better flow 5/5
13. Mama Loves ME(The Blueprint)....................5/5
