played CB, safety on long downs and some TB periodically.. 5'10 like 170-175.. more fast than anything, hell i got pulled from track to try out for the team (fb coaches switched to track coaches in spring semester)

fbs fun.. not so much summer time in the heat.. but games were fun

Doesn't matter, DSA

It's not too early to say that Ryan doesn't have "it"

i'll give you that. but my point was more, just having an "it" guy doesn't help. Luck hasn't won **** in this league. you would not be happy with Luck as your QB on this Dolphin team. i promise you that. the TEAM as a whole is terrible.

Getting blown out in the AFCCF > going 8-8 or 7-9 every year

I see what you're saying, but Ryan isn't Andrew Luck. Not even close. You don't need to watch 2,000 hours of game tape to figure it out. We need a new QB

for sure. he isn't. i just think even with Luck, the team is going to struggle. the holes that exist elsewhere would be pretty tough to overcome for anyone.

but we'll see. it'll be interesting if Gase looks to get someone in the draft this coming year. going to be some decent prospects coming out.

remember the 00s when the colts and ravens would constantly wash the broncos in the playoffs. got to the point where i was like 'if this the crap youre bringing in january stay home'.

nice.

i see tanne kinda like Bradford.. it's way to late in the game to still trying to figure out what exactly they are

when you have to kind of money you do at QB, you better have a damn good idea of what you're getting

that's why i was thankful as hell that we had foles for another year after his 27-2 year, because when you saw the all 22 stuff dude was just flat out missing reads

like for the team the Vikings had, i can see the risk.. well obviously before the injury to AP and kalil.. because they literally just need a QB to do enough and the defense will do the rest.. but they paid a steep price for enough

My guess is we're stupid and cut him loose. Andy Reid gets him, drafts a big play WR along with Maclin/Kelce then adds a versatile RB and prospers for years with him. We'll take Kaaya or Watson and ruin the **** outta them for the next 3-4 years. It's gonna be exciting.

problem is the amount yall have allocated to someone who aint that great.. like you got to identify the guys who want to hold on to and guys that you need to move on from

and you gotta be able to divorce yourself from wherever a guy was picked or whatever you gave up from him.. that's why it usually takes a new regime coming in before guys that should be moved get moved

not sure what exactly your GM situation is.. but obviously, needs to be some hard reevaluation of what is there before moving forward and figuring out who needs to go

think gase is out the door with tanny the day it happens. its just how it goes.

i could see andy working well with him.. but you guys need to build up the line.. not sure what to think of parker yet really.. but obviously you guys have a good one in landry

but i expected more pats type stuff with how the CBs backed off and gave so much cushion.. get the ball to landry quick and let him work..

but then i remember that one sort of backwards pass to landry that ended up losing a yard.. hell even when the one bengals dude took himself out when trying lay a hit on the dolphins guy.. just assumed you guys would go a ton of quick passes, then when they held the LBs.. then switch to the running game

What????? :lol I just said last page I'm the least upset Dolphin fan. But i know the fanbase is quickly turning. They're going to force stupidity thinking one player, one position will fix it all. They're stupid.

Luck is a God, he can't overcome Grigson.

How would our new rookie QB fix anything?

Yay, here's our new prized rookie QB, meet Dallas Thomas. *Shoots everybody*

I'm not sold on Dak but the Cowboys had pretty much the same type core last season and were garbage when Romo went down.

That's also an interesting scenario how would a quarterback like Luck would do with this roster. I think Luck would consistently take the Dolphins roster to the playoffs.

i think dak is a very high end backup.. or if you can build up a seahawks, Vikings and/or broncos level defense then he would be a solid starter

Oh, that's just how we've drafted/built the last several years, since like 99. :lol

nah, G. not playing in the AFC east. maybe in the AFC South

I disagree

I think the Dolphins have more talent on their team than the Colts have.

That plus Luck overcomes playing the AFC East vs the AFC South. I don't think they'd win the division though.

How you became a Lakers, Dolphin and Cubs fan.

LA, Miami and Chicago
Why not?
I'm born and raised in LA, I never fully embraced the Lakers because I could never afford to go to a Lakers game and the Clippers were trash and had the most racist owner in the league. And the Rams left in 95, I was too young to even know we had them.

That was my point.
Just like you have that story, I'm sure CP does too if he cheers that broadly.
Worth hearing IMO. They usually have some great info attached.

For instance, We have Thunder now, but before that I cheered Minny for KG and Bucks was the backup squad because they had Todd Day who signed my shirt at the 89' Olympic Festival that OKlahoma hosted at the Lloyd Noble Center (Sooners Court)
Football I've always Repped Dallas on the NFL level and Ok St at the Collegiate level.

MLB I cheered Boston because I was a huge Boggs/Ellis Burk fan and then Oil Can Boyd had the ill delivery and Clemens was Heater after Heater after Heater and the closest thing we had to MLB was the OKC 89ers and a Semi-Pro Women's team, the OKC Twisters who practiced at a field that was at the end of a creek we used to fish for crawdads at.

Oh, easy. (I've explained this many times on here)

Grew up late 80's kid. Lived in LA. Father taught me about Chick Hearn. And Magic was everything.

Cubs were WGN. Summer vaca, games at 11 AM, Wrigley, ivy, brick, Harry, all awesome.

Needed NFL team, then saw Dan Marino throw a football. I was in awe. Sold.

So, wanted a college team. Saw Canes literally fight everyone. Flags every play, CRUSH other players then tell em about it. Dancin, laughin, just obliterate teams. I was totally sold when I found out they hate Notre Dame.

So, LA, Chicago, Miami, Miami, just like that. By 91-92, none of them were good anymore, but I was never gonna leave them. I lost Magic. Dan got hurt in 93, but Sammy came, and Nick Van Exel soon too. Dan came back, and a few years later my Lakers did too.

I grew up quickly losing Magic and not long after, Dan. And in baseball, frankly, just losing. The Cubs did a lot of it. :lol

Now my Cubs are elite, and my Lakers are tankers. But my Cubs are elite from tanking, so there is hope.

I never, ever, ever cared about "home" teams. I'm from LA, yes, but I moved away from LA as a young boy, I didn't give a **** about home town pride in kindergarten. :lol I loved Magic and Chick Hearn. I didn't need neighbors or classmates cheering with me, same as I don't need em now. Most fans annoy me anyways. I get along with very few in each fanbase I live in. Can't fathom living in a Homer fanbase. :{

I only have one question, why Oklahoma state instead of Oklahoma?
