The dude couldnt even beat out a non-NFL prospect at quarterback...twice!

Tannehill won the job but injury default...good for him for running with it but Im not sure how much you can expect from the dude.

Maybe Im tripping but Tannehill looks like almost the same guy I watched on my Aggies.....what do you think @Jewbacca2..did you ever think Tannehill was going to be a top NFL quarterback?

Funny thing is, PFF had Tannehill as their 12th rated QB thru 3 weeks.

He was also the teams leading rusher thru 3 weeks.

He then plays poorly, on the road, on a short week, vs a good team, with a ton of starters out, and we're back to blaming the entire franchise on him. :lol

The entire roster has 5 above average players per PFF. Ryan, Landry, Suh, Jones and Wake. 53 man roster, 5 are grading out above average.

But football culture apparently dictates you blame one man, one position.

Pouncey, Steen, Albert, Cameron, Foster, Jenkins, Misi, and Maxwell all not playing = quarterbacks fault.

Lamar Miller and Olivier Vernon let go for nothing = quarterbacks fault.

Dallas Thomas still on the roster = quarterbacks fault.

Ajayi, Damien Williams, Isiah Lead, Drake, Foster RB by committee = quarterbacks fault.

Yup. Just get a rookie QB, alllllllllllllll those problems will be solved. Yup.

so if you hypothetically put Tannehill on the Texans, would they be legit contenders?

If the NFL is seriously concerned about falling ratings, these dudes need to just look at these Thursday night games..

There is such a thing as over saturation of the market

Legit, when was the last good Thursday night game?

I don't know a lot about their roster. Hop/Full/LM is nice, if their OLine is nice and defense is decent, no reason he couldn't be Andy Dalton/Joe Flacco.

Dalton wins 10-11 games every year, but I love their roster.

How many Phins start in Cincy? 4? Landry, Suh, Jones and Wake, right? Anyone else?

PFF had Tannehill as like their #1 QB in the league in 2014.  Their ratings are just bizzare.

BOB is taking over playcalling on offense this week. Hopefully this means more of getting Lamar on the edge for explosive plays and less of running him up the gut 20 times a game like he's Jerome Bettis

I just dont understand how you can blame coaching for a QB's horrible play when the coach is one of the most well-regarded QB coaches in the league.
It aint like Tomsula is coaching Tannehill :lol

This dude Gase made Cutler look decent and Cutler had just as bad, if not WORSE protection with a garbage O-Line.
Yes he had Alshon and such, but Tannehill has his share of weapons as well.

The team has a LOT of issues, I aint blaming it all on the qb. Obviously football is a lot more than QB play (the idiots dont know that, but most of us do CP)...
but just individually grading the QB without talking wins or losses, Tannehill doesn't look any better in his 5th year than he did in his 1st.

That in a vacuum is a problem, especially when he has a coaching staff now built that specializes in QB play.

don't the dolphins have a ton of injuries.. especially on OLine?

I mean tanne was still bad.. but that didn't exactly help.. if that is the case

Don't think anyone said this is Gase's fault or that it's on him.

I personally hate his/Tom's personnel decisions... wasting touches with Pead, not using Grant at least twice a game (just show him out there)... not going back to Ajayi who was having a decent game, no roll outs or shifting the line with how much pressure was coming up the middle, I really could go on...

All are on Gase and co. but the players have been awful, so it is what it is.

PFT reporting Sammy Watkins might not play again this year

Ajayi was actually looking good in his touches and instead of just trying to roll with him for the game to get him comfortable he wanted to keep putting in the three other RB's. He must really not like Ajayi.

Damn Sammy. Supposed to be as much of a lock as Julio and Green. Looks like he's gonna end up a poor mans Percy Harvin. That sucks.

Pouncey.
Albert.
Steen.

Out with injuries.

James benched due to bad play, bad play continued. Billy Turner had to come in at Guard and was killed multiple times. Bushrod died multiple times.

Bingo.

It's a legit possibility now that the Browns are washing their hands of him

Jimmy and Josh G 8o

Josh Gordon needs a full time babysitter, if you can't drink then why the hell are you still going to clubs???

I have no doubt he screwed up and he knew what was coming so before he could be tested again, he checked into rehab

Apparently him and his agent got the DNA results yesterday morning that the kid actually is his and he owes her child support from the time the kid was born til right now. So maybe he was stressed as hell and knew if he didn't check himself into rehab that he'd end up drinking/smoking the stress away....or he already did that and was checking in to avoid having to take another test for the time being.
